Ethan's POV

I grabbed another rock and threw it in the water. Watching it jump a bit before it sank to the bottom.

This place was where I usually Cleared all my thoughts and just enjoyed what was around me.

Everything had changed at this point. Our relationship as a whole group pretty much. How we felt towards each other. What we did most of the time. Where We would hang around.

It never felt the same.

I pulled my hoodie string and Looked up at the sky. It was cloudy. Everything was grey. The sound of the waves just pleased my ears.

I got up and made my way towards the top and to my car. Once I got in I turned the car on and drove back home.

No one was home right now. Being alone wasn't that bad.

I opened the door to the house and walked inside. Nothing.

While making my way to the kitchen, I hear something in the living room.

I take a glimpse and see Veronica sitting down reading. I shrug and walk to the kitchen.

"Shhhhh" I hear someone say. "Ouu Stop" I then hear laughter. "I'm gonna slap you right now."

"Do it" Another voice follows.

I shrug it off. I knew who it was either way. I wasn't in the mood for being in my feelings right now. I hear footsteps coming my way. Grabbing my glass of water I quickly exit the kitchen.

Out of all the people in this huge world I needed to bump into both, Angy and Cameron.

I give them a half smile and then look down at the ground making my way around them.

"No Hello, Alright" Angy Says.

I sat on the couch in front of Veronica and she looks up at me and gives me a half smile.

"Hey" She mumbles in a quiet voice.

"Hi" I say. Really awkward moment. "You bored?"

"Yep, Found this book and thought I could maybe read" She says and I nod.

"Fortnite?" I ask.

She chuckles. "Why not."

"FUCK" I Yell throwing my control. Veronica Laughs and I follow along.
"Damn Conner's gonna Kill me."

"DumbAss" Veronica Says laughing.

"No shit. Have you seen Ethan" Bryan says Sipping his soda. I look confusedly at him.

"Since when have you been here" I ask.

"Since You started yelling 'Suck My Ball Sack 5 year olds' and You got shot by Turtles._.52Love" he says Chuckling.

"I got more kills than you though" She says. "I was playing this with Alec Yesterday."

"How are things going with you two by the way" I ask and she smiles.

"Pretty Good I Guess" She says nodding.

"That's Nice" Bryan says. "I'm bored."

"Same" I say.

Bryan gives me a grin. "10 year Old Basketball Game?"

"Let's Go. Grab the ball" I say smiling.

"Where are you guys going" Veronica asks.

"We are gonna go play basketball with 10 year olds at the park 5 minutes away from here. We do it often" She smiles.

"Can I come" She asks.
