Collin really had met his match. She was a firecracker ready to go off at any moment. She was a minx as well. She kept shaking her hips as she walked away from him that he couldn't concentrate on anything else. The tight black ripped jeans she was wearing made her curves visible. Too visible actually, that he was actually thinking of buying a shapeless oversized dress for her. Watching her but not being able to touch her was torture.

Not as much torture as walking into her room. Her scent drove him crazy. Her rich chocolate scent was making him feel as though he was on cloud 9. He never wanted to leave that cloud, until she started spewing shit. He hit the ground so hard he had to hold himself back from tearing his hair out.  How dare she accuse him of lust? Yes she was a beautiful woman but he saw past that.

Collin saw a fierce Lioness ready to protect her family from any danger, even if it meant she had to kill off the hunter. Which would be him. He was in her way but he was going to stand there until she accepted him. But she wasn't going to accept easily, she was an African Princess for a reason.

When he was done making his point, he got on his feet again and walked out of her room. She needed time and he would give it to her. For a little while because he needed to think of a plan on how to catch her in his trap. A hunter always needed to have a plan for catching his prey.

"Touch my plate one more time Jackson and you will have no more fingers!" Collin heard the golden girl shout. He made his way into the kitchen where he saw his warriors eating happily at the dining table and three girls serving them food.

All conversations halted at the sight of him. The golden girl narrowed her eyes at him. She was tiny compared to him so he wasn't even frightened. She was just like his Angel, fierce and ready to pounce if threatened.

"Where is my sister?" she demanded

"In her room, I thought I should give her some time to think about us." Collin replied

The golden girl laughed at this: "Us? You haven't known her for 24 hours and you have claimed her as yours? She isn't your run-of-the-mill kind of girls who will kneel and agree to everything you say."

Collin's lips tilted at that comment.
Oh I know that for sure.

Andrew-his best warrior and dear friend-stood from his chair to offer to Collin. He then picked up a girl from her chair and sat right in it and placed her gently in his lap. When everyone returned to their meals and conversations, Andrew smirked at Collin and mouthed I'm a lucky bastard.

At least one of us has it easy, he mouthed back. At that Andrew laughed, which made the girl look at him. He shook his head slightly at her and smiled before kissing her cheek. It was actually quite sickening to see that his friend was acting like he had been shot with an arrow. He could clearly see his heart eyes all the way from where Collin stood.

"Let me introduce you to the girls. I'm Mazulu, the eldest daughter. The girl with the dreadlocks over there serving one of your men is Nomvula, she's the second eldest. Then there's Khetiwe," she pointed at the girl who was sitting on Andrew while discreetly feeding a puppy at her feet," she's the youngest of us all. The only person who's missing is Nkosazana's twin sister Nandi but she's on bed rest. The guys should be back anytime now but we'll save their introductions."

Collin nodded respectively at each girl and proceeded to apologize for how he and his men treated her. She simply just laughed at that and accepted their apologies. She even apologized for how she spoke to them, obviously with difficultly. It was obvious that she was full of pride and that made it more difficult for her to admit her mistakes.

Collin looked up from his plate when he felt her near. She had changed her clothes and looked even fiercer than before. She was wearing a short black dress that hugged her body in all the right places. Her braids were loosely tied up in a bun on top of her head. Her feet were bare as she walked across the kitchen to plate her own food. Collin couldn't take his eyes off her neck. It was ordained with tattoos. Star tattoos that curved and  disappeared under her dress. One day he was going to look at that trail of stars in detail and he was going to take his time doing it.

When she turned around again, he found her eyes. Those eyes. The same eyes he had been dreaming of are right here in front of him. Looking straight into his soul. They unnerved him but he couldn't have it any other way.
