Autumn outside the post office

He was crying on our wedding night hyung,  I didn't know how to react.  I thought he was really happy,  but the moment our gazes met,  I saw the pain that was swirling in his eyes,  it was so intense to the point my own heart started aching...

A single drop fell on his soft cheek,  Jin looked up at the gray sky,  it's going to rain soon and he didn't take his car with him and here he is waiting for the bus. 

Suddenly a familiar car stopped in front of him,  he smiled widely once he saw the person that came out of it,  the male immediately ran to his welcoming arms for a hug.
"Taetae!"
"Seokjinnie! Aigo you're cold!"
Taehyung said then hugged the smaller male tighter,  the sweet scent of strawberries and flowers already filling his nostrils.
"Seokjinnie is warmer now."
Tae bit his lower lip trying his best to hold back the urge of kissing every inch of this man's angelic face.
He knows he should be ashamed of thinking like that,  especially when this man is his childhood best friend plus his boss's husband.
"Let's get in my car before it start raining."

In the car:

"So Jin where are you going?"
"To the company.  Jungkookie forgot this product file on his desk...and I need to make sure he had lunch."
"Kookie is lucky to have you...to remind him of what he forgets."
"Thank you Taetae. I am lucky to have him as well."
"Jungkook-ah has been acting like a grumpy cat recently do you know why?"
"Probably the lack of sleep."
"You're keeping him busy at night eh?" Tae said while grinning but the look on Seokjin's face made him regret the joke he made,  not fully understanding why.
"Sorry Jin,  I swear I wasn't trying to-"
"It's okay Tae. Please focus on the road now... Am too young to die."

"Get Out!"

Tae and Jin flinched upon hearing the shout that came from Jungkook's office. Seconds later a crying secretary was walking out through the door,  looking absolutely devastated.

"Hyorinssi wait." Jin called while following the woman to help her and Tae decided to enter the office.

"I told you to fuck- what is it Taehyung?"
"Why hello to you  Kook... tell me what's wrong?"
"Hyorin lost the product file I need and she couldn't find it so I fired her."
"Uh-huh. You sure it wasn't with you?"
"Taehyung if you're trying to wreck my nerves you're doing a great job."

"Jungkook why did you fire Hyorin?"
"None of your business Jin."
"But-"
"I am busy as you see."

Taehyung frowned at how harsh that sounded toward Jin but the latter showed no sign of weakness or sadness he just placed the file in front of Jungkook.

However Jin noticed Tae's suspicious looks toward them so he placed a hand on Jk's shoulder and hosted himself up,  placing a peck on his lips.

"Please give Hiyorin back her job.  And don't forget to eat. I am leaving....Bye Taetae!"

He was born lonely.  He once told me that he'll live and die lonely.  But I don't want that hyung. I'll never give up on him even if he was the one pushing me away. 

Jin hugged his knees while sitting on the couch,  the movie he was watching was long time forgotten as his eyes were glued to the clock.
It's already midnight and as usual Jungkook hasn't returned yet.

Text message from: Eomma.

Hey baby,  you still up?

Jin smiled upon seeing the message.  His mother was the definition of sweetness. She saw him with baggy eyes the other day and since then she always make sure to remind him of sleeping early.

To: Eomma.

I am my princess ❤  but will go to sleep soon.  Sleep tight mommy and cover well,  I don't want you to caught a flue.

"Whom is this?" the low voice that suddenly asked startled Jin so bad that his phone flew towards the ceiling and landed with a thud down.

"Jungkook you scared me!" he half whispered half shouted while calming his breath. "You're...drunk?"
Jin asked after smelling the heavy scent of alcohol he failed to notice at first.

Jungkook didn't bother to reply he only walked away,  without saying anything. Like always.

"Jungkook!"
Jin molded all the courage inside him and  called successfully gaining his husband's attention,  who rose an eyebrow at him.
"I want-....It's nothing...good night."

Jin wanted to ask Jungkook if he loves him.. But he was scared of the answer,  he didn't want to hear it or just face silence.  He'll just believe that His kookie loves him and everything is going to be alright.
They are going to be alright.
