The Big Move

Last week we moved into my apartment in LA and started Online Schooling. The hardest part was moving away from all of our friends. My job doesn't start for 1 week yet so we have had time to ourselves (which has been good). It is my 17th birthday today and Ryan has a surprise planned for me, which im obviously excited for, but at the same time im a little scared.

My sister flew out from Arizona (where we are from) last night so she is coming around to our house at some point today and my Brother has been in LA shooting his TV show, Dear My Wife, so he has already came around with some flowers and chocolates from Spain. Lastly my other Brother has came all the way from Scotland so he is at my mom and dads house just now asleep. My Brother from LA  is called Luke. My Brother from Scotland is called Jackson and my sister is called Taylor. Im also the youngest with Luke being 24, Taylor also 24 (they're twins!), Jackson being 20 and me being 17. Just to say that Ryan is now 18.

Ryan told me to throw on my nicest outfit and do my makeup all pretty. And to meet him in my sisters apartment 3 floors up at 7.  I put on my oufit and applied my makeup and of course did my hair. When i got to my sisters apartment i was greated by Ryan outside, he put a blindfold on me and guided me into Taylor's appartment.  I couldn't feel him near me and i couldn't hear his smoth soothing voice near me, until i heard Luke shout" REMOVE THE BLINDFOLD!!".

I slowly removed my blindfold to a...Surprise Party? Quickly after i heard the sounds of everyone shouting "surprise!". I was so happy until i saw a few faces in the croud and burst out crying. Those faces was all of our friends from Arizona, just to celebrate my birthday. Ryan had invited his parents, which was good as our parents have not seen each other.

I was handed a giant present which said "To the Love of my Life from 'Your Man'". I turned around and gave Ryan a kiss on the cheek, my father didn't look happy. I tore away the yellow and Blue striped wrapping paper to reveal a white box. Ryan turned to face me, with a little smirk on his face. I opened to box to see it was empty and that there was hole right where Ryan was sitting.

All eyes were on Ryan for some reason and i thought it was strange as it was my birthday. Ryan turned around and said:

"I know we have been together for 6 months and i loved every second of it. My favourite memory with you is The Summer Dance where we sat and talked about us and how we walked in late, almost crying. Do you remeber our conversation? Well i think it's time that happens? Emily Anderson, would you make me the happiest man alive and be my Emily Shaw?" Ryan pulled out a very expensive ring. I started to cry and and said yes. He slided the ring onto my finger and said: "Don't worry we can wait for a wedding!?"

He has offically made me the happiest person on earth.
