The Summer Dance

Im Scared. Im Nervous. Tonight is The Summer Dance. I've been getting ready since 3:30PM and its now 6:30PM. Ryan is picking me up at seven and I've just finished getting ready. The Dance is from 9PM-4AM, so we are going out for a meal and then heading along to the dance.

Ryan came to pick me up and then he drove us along to Simon's Leafy Greens, which is a restaurant where you make your own salad. They have meat and they also have a vegetarian and Vegan booth where there is meat alternatives. We sat down and the table and the restaurant is 100% healthy so we had a choice of Water, Fruit Juice and Milk (soy milk or almond milk for the Vegan options). When our drinks came our server brought us over salad plates and a bowl. We made our salads and ate them. We then grabbed some fruit and once we finished the meal we paid ($19.98) and left.

When we arrived in our school's parking lot we met the others from our group who had went to McDonalds. They all went inside but Ryan held me back and said he needed to speak to me. He took me over to a tree outside of the school and told me to sit along with him. He told me that the first time he saw me he thought I was just his popular sisters nerdy best friend and that he saw me more as sister than a crush. Until the day he saw me all dolled up (the day he asked me out)he just had to have me for himself. He said that he has NEVER been this way with a girl and, with a tear in his eye, he said he would love to send the rest of his life with me. He said one day I wont be Emily Anderson, instead i will be Emily Shaw.

I walked into the dance, tears in my eyes and shaking crazily. I fet like the whole group was staring as we made our grand entrance (we walked in 20 minutes late). We walked along and everyone was asking what happened why we were both away to start crying. We didn't tell them amd it annoyed them but it was funny. During the dance i received a phone call from my parents' agent (as my parents' are actors in LA) saying that he had found me a acting job in LA and has 2 plane tickets for me and a friend. At 4AM when the dance had finished i went back and stayed at Ryan and Mia's house. I told Ryan about the call and that my parents had gone back to LA whilst we were at the Dance. I told him that i had an apartment for us to stay in (without my parents) and if he would like to come with me. He agreed and then we both fell alseep in his bed and me in his arms.
