Dr. Uchiha could not even stop his smiling.

"I have certainly out done myself." He clapped softly, twice with a laugh. "Oh Dende." He began to walk away from his large computer and towards the glass tube which held the source of his joy.

His secret lab was at a cliché point, underground. He would have tried to be more original but underground was his best option. He was dealing with some pretty illegal stuff. Everything he dealt with was probably twenty years ahead of modern science. He was not the only selfish genius though. Maybe if more intellects like himself put their energy into things like curing illness, cancer would not be a problem.

"But that's so boring." He said arriving before the tube. The lights were dim but the green liquid within the glass glowed so that he could see what was inside.

"Look at you." He stroked a gentle finger against the glass. "All I need to do is pull on this lever and you will be . . . the first out of many. You are the dawn of a new beginning." He giggled against his will and then stepped to where the lever was.

There was a large machine behind the tube that was meant to be pulled when all other things were sorted out. "And now they finally are so let's go!"

When the lever was pulled the tiny zygote made completely from synthetic materials that only matched the human sperm and egg enough to form this mockery of a true being, began to grow, going through all of the stages necessary before birth up until birth and then even after. It kept growing.

"Well she keeps growing I suppose." Uchiha said noting that his creation was a girl. He did not really care what gender it was, as long as it was human and of the make that he called 'perfection'. Yes, he achieved the impossible, a perfect human being was made. "Perfect where it counts actually . . . hopefully."

When the girl looked like a teenager he pulled the lever back and she stopped growing.

The scientist smiled. "She's . . . beautiful." Something about this made him feel . . .warm, fragile, at peace? All of these things perhaps. One thing was for sure though. The man felt accomplished.

"Okay, let's get you out." He pressed a button on the panel attached to the tube and the glass surrounding the girl came down and all of the water drained. She fell to the floor also but seemed to not be aware of her falling. She looked asleep.

Uchiha stooped next to the girl and then held her face. He tapped at her cheek hoping to the heavens that she was alive. "Hello?" He tried a slap on the shoulder and got a harsh breath out of her. She started coughing and he smiled. He patted her back to help her cough. "Let out what ever needs to come out my dear."

The teen stopped coughing and then looked to him.

Uchiha decided to help her up. When he stood he held her arm, encouraging her to stand also, she did not budge so he guessed that she did not know how to do what he was doing. He then stooped once more and scooped her into his arms. He carried her to a different side of the room and rested her down in a sitting position.

From what Uchiha could see, she looked lost, lost and cold. At least she was not crying like a baby. "Excuse me while I get you something warm." He rushed to his feet and went to a closet in his lab. It was filled with lab coats but that would have to do. He retrieved one and brought it to the girl who seemed to have been following him with her eyes. He put it over her shoulders.

The girl stared at the white lab coat and then at the man.

"Okay, I am going to have a lot of work to do aren't I?" The man scratched at his cheek. He did not think of having to teach the people he made. That's why I made her first. One at a time to see how this is going to work. Next time I'll program them with intelligence. He smiled. "Hi. My name is Dende Uchiha and I guess you can call me . . . father."
