Perrie lay on her back with hands at the back of her head. She was staring at the ceiling.
"Chim?" She asked without prying her eyes from where they stared. "Do you feel . . . excluded?"
Jimin was sitting up at the edge of his bed. Perrie was over for a date with him. They had been watching movies earlier. It was a day close to New Year's eve. "Excluded from what my dear?"
Perrie sat up and locked eyes with him. "I don't know. It's a weird feeling but I feel it. It's like when you said on our first date that you and I were out of the equation that everyone else was in." She touched her chin as she thought that over and then nodded on realizing that it made proper sense.
Jimin was quiet. "Well . . . I suppose. Everyone else has been going through conflicts while you and I have not." He smiled slowly though he felt evil for doing so. His dream had come true. He was peaceful. It was too bad that the others were not.
Perrie rolled her tongue in her mouth. "Huh . . . you're right. We usually have shit going on too but it's been different."
He moved closer so that he was sat next to her and their sides touched. After, he put an arm over her shoulders. "We are being rewarded after long period of suffering. Hoorah!" He held one of her hands and held it up before kissing her cheek.
Perrie smiled. "Yeah. . ." She smiled brighter. That made sense. She had been through a lot and so had Jimin. He had been through more than her. They deserved this. Things were good for them. "Yeah!" She tackled him and they both fell onto the bed. She was on top of him as they giggled. "I always thought that that saying, 'An arrow needs to be pulled back considerably before it can propel a great distance forward' was Jack shit but it's not."
"Interesting." Jimin kissed her lips. "Where did you hear that from?"
"I think it was a viral post on the net. I actually heard it from Leigh first though. I just thought she was talking nonsense as usual. You know how lame her poetry is."
Jimin shook his head as they both laughed. "Do not say such things." He smooched with her. "Do you know who is excellent poet though?"
"Yoongi?"
Jimin nodded. "Him and Namjoon hyung. Hoseok is quite great as well. Oh! And Taehyung and Jin hyung. They have way with words." He nuzzled her as her forehead touched his. "I wish that I could write like them so that I could express exactly how I feel about you."
"Aww. I wish I could write really well too. I write a few songs here and there but I don't know." Perrie rolled off him to lie on her side. He turned to face her. "Try saying something sweet." She giggled.
Jimin felt shy now with her eyes staring deeply into his. He blushed. Do not mess this up! Do not! Say the sweetest words on earth. Say them and make her feel like the gem she is. Say it you idiot! Utter the words quick! He was giving himself anxiety. "If I had not met you, I would be dead." No! His eyes started watering quickly but the tears stayed at the lids.
Perrie snorted on a laugh. "Really?" She messed with his hair a bit. "If I hadn't met you, I think I'd be still depressed." She pouted. "I remember those days of not being able to eat." She started sobbing.
"No. Do not do that precious." Jimin moved some hair out of her face and then kissed her nose. "You met me. Fate had it all in store for us and now we are both here and in deep love. Do not think of what would have happened if. Things have happened and they have worked out well. Enjoy it and live in the moments of happiness. Thinking back to sadness will draw it back to you." He blurted out. He just did not like seeing her sad. He tried his utmost best to make sure that she was happy always. He really did. Perrie probably had tons of gifts under her bed from him. Jimin just liked being perfect. In the back of his mind though, he still believed that he was not good enough for her.
