I pick Tyler up and carry him to the living room.
"Ok Ty. We're gonna go over your rules, punishments, and rewards."
"Otay dada."
As I say his rules, I wrote them down.
"1) No talking back
2) Listen to daddy always
3) Be on your best behavior at all times
4) No cussing
5) Bedtime is 8:30pm during the week and 10pm on the weekends
6) Tell daddy when something is wrong
I think that's all for your rules for right now baby."
"Otay daddy."
"Do you want me to repeat them or do you understand Ty?"
"I understand daddy."
"Ok. Your punishments.
1) Timeout
2) No toys
3) No stuffies
4) No sleeping with daddy
5) Spankings
6) Anything else that daddy sees fit
Are you ok with those baby boy?"
"Yea dada."
"Ok baby. For rewards, everyday that you go without breaking any rules, you'll get a gold star. If you're extra good, maybe 2 stars. You can keep all of your stars until you have enough to get the reward you want. 1) New stuffie=10 stars
2) 1 piece of candy=2 stars
3) 10 minutes past bedtime=10 stars
4) Coloring time=5 stars
5) Movie day with daddy=15 stars
6) Extra cuddles=5 stars
7) Dress-up=7 stars
8) Tea party=7 stars
9) Paint nails=10 stars
Those are your rewards for now baby, ok? If you have anything else that you wanna add, then tell me and I'll think about it baby boy."
"Otay dada. I sweepy."
"Ok baby, let's go lay down."
I pick Tyler up and carry him to our bed.
"We'll go shopping later for new little things, ok baby?"
"Otay dada." Tyler yawns and cuddles into my chest.
I lay down on the bed with Tyler laid on my chest and hold him close.
Soon I feel his breathing slow down and I can tell that he's asleep.
"I love you baby boy."
