I had really messed up this time. I couldn't light the match in time and now Sammy is lying in a hospital bed. Dad is practically smoking with anger. I knew I would be in big trouble when we got home, 'It was all your fault! You nearly got Sammy killed! You're so stupid! You're such a burden! You should just run away so they don't have to deal with your crap!' and what's worse is now the self doubt is back.I hadn't even noticed that we were back in the motel room again.
"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT (Y/N)!? YOU NEARLY GOT YOUR BROTHER KILLED! YOU ARE SO USELESS! YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING RIGHT! YOU ARE SUCH A BURDEN! I WISH YOU HAD NEVER BEEN BORN AT ALL!" The sound of skin hitting skin echoed through the motel room. I didn't know where the sound came from until I felt the sting in my cheek. Dad had yelled at me before yes, but he had never hit me. I could feel my eyes sting with tears that I refused to let fall in front of dad.
"I-I-I'm sorry dad." I mumbled so as not to anger him more. What he said next both surprised me and made me sad.
"I am not your father, and you are not my daughter! You will call me sir from now on is that clear?"
"Yes sir." My voice was weak by now.
"Good. Now go to bed. Let's hope you can do at least that without messing up."

Once I knew that Dad was back at the hospital with Sam and Dean I packed up all my stuff and left. 'See they are better off without you. John said so himself, you're a burden.' As I closed the motel door I let out a sad sigh and started walking towards the playground near the motel.
Once inside the gates of the playground I sat down on a swing and started to slowly swing myself with my feet not leaving the ground. I don't know how long I sat there by myself.
VORRRRP. VORRRRP. VORRRRP.
I didn't pay much attention to the strange noise coming from behind me. I didn't mind if it killed me. I was a tad disappointed when nothing happened.
"Hello. I'm The Doctor. What's your name?" I jumped slightly at his soft voice next to me. I look over to see a man sitting on the swing next to mine. He was dressed quite strangely; he wore a tweed suit, and a bright red bow tie.
"Sorry didn't mean to scare you." He didn't look like he wanted to hurt me.
"It's alright. I'm (Y/N). (Y/N) Winchester." I held out my hand for him to shake. He shook my hand and gave me a kind smile.
"It's very nice to meet you (Y/N). May I ask why you are out here all alone in the middle of the night?" He asked in his British accent.
"No reason really." I felt bad lying.
"I know its not my place but I think it has something to do with that red slap mark on your face and those tear tracks on you cheeks." He said softly, not pushing the subject to hard.
"I don't know why I'm telling you this but I ran away from home, if you can call where I was staying a home."
"I know that feeling. One day I started running and I haven't stopped since. Why don't you come with me? We could run together. Cause if you run alone for to long it gets lonely." I don't know why I trusted this man, maybe it was his old eyes that have seen pain, or maybe it was the way he smiled at me.
"Okay." At this he smiled at me, jumped up from the swing, grabbed my hand, and dragged me off towards a blue box.
That was the day I started running, and I haven't stopped.
