Every New Beginning Starts With An Ending

'Every new beginning starts with an ending' That's what the Doctor always says anyway, me? Well I'm not so sure. I mean in a way it makes sense; you can't start a new adventure when your already on an adventure now, can you? But what happens if you don't want to end the adventure you are currently on? The Doctor says this will be good for me, but I don't want to leave him, he's my family now, he's my current adventure; but he wants me to start a new adventure.

I stare down at the new, shiny flat key in my hands. To be honest I am a little excited to be living by myself, but I've also been with the Doctor for so long that it will feel odd to not be around him all the time.

I unlock my new flat and walk in, deciding to start unpacking my things. Other than the boxes everywhere my new flat is rather nice. The walls are a nice pastel purple colour and the hardwood floors are made of a dark kind of wood that I don't know the name of.

The first thing I decide to set up is my CD player so that I can play some music while unpacking. Dusting off my hands I select my copy of 'Danger Days' by My Chemical Romance and pop it into the CD player.

I have finally finished unpacking all my boxes, by now I have listened to the same album a minimum of ten times. I plonk down onto my couch and decide to check out the local diners by going out for dinner, well at least that's what i'm going to tell myself, really it's because I cant be bothered cooking.

Throwing my black leather jacket on and grabbing my phone, keys and wallet I walk out of the house to find food.

Walking down the footpath I take in all the sights that Glasgow has to offer me. I decide on eating at this little cafe about a block from my flat called 'Olympus coffee'. As I walk into the cafe I see a guy about my age standing behind the counter, he looks to be Italian and has the darkest eyes I have ever seen, he seems to be talking to the blonde male next to him who is manning the coffee machine. I cant help but think about how cute they would be as a couple as I walk up to the counter to order.

"Hi, I'm Nico. How can I help you today miss?" The dark eyed boy asked in a faint Italian accent, a kind smile on his face.

"Hi, I'm Y/N. I'll Just have a hot chocolate and a large chips, please." I replied sweetly.

"Sure thing. Coming right up," he replied, " one hot choc and a large chips Will." Nico ordered, turning towards the blonde male.

I looked around the empty cafe for a seat I would like, and chose one next to the window. I sat down, looking out the window at the cars passing by.

"Here you go Y/N." Nico states as he places my order on the table in front of me.

"Thank you." I smiled.
