Will's P.O.V.

It was the next morning, the day that Will would face Chris in court, Will blinked open his eyes and turned and looked beside him, Zach was nice enough to stay with him, so he was asleep on one of the sofas. Will listened to his gentle snore before getting up quietly and grabbed a button-up shirt and jeans and went to the bathroom to put them on. Ounce he got back Zach awoken and smiled at him, "What happened at Pax-east?" Will asked as he sat down on the sofa by Zach.

"I didn't go, I went to the policestation hoping they had news about you, luckly Chris gave himself away." Zach replied as he took a sip of water. He set it down and looked at Will's phone which dinged from a message, "Man, thats the 5th message."

Will laughed as he got up and grabbed his phone. He opened his messages to find a group chat with him and the rest of the cube, the messages were from Liam, Parker, Stacy, Strawb, Zach.

The first one was from Zach who Will assumed made the chat since it was the first message, 'Will's alive! He even just spoke to me!' Will looked at Zach with a smirk and Zach laughed.

Then Liam answered with, 'Really? Right when we leave he is up!' Liam's message sounded annoyed but Will knew he was glad.

'Bad luck man.' replied Parker and Strawb.

'Welcome back William!' Stacy said.

Will opened the keyboard and typed in a smiley face. He turned off his phone and looked back at Zach, "You better get ready, I'm needed in court in 30 minutes." Zach nodded and got up and headed towards the bathroom. Will sighed and opened a drawer and put on a hat he looked in the mirror and frowned as he saw that where his hair should be sat nothing.  Will clenched his fists in anger but sighed. He watched Zach walk out the bathroom in different clothes and said, "Come on." He led him out of the room and locked the door behind him. Ounce they reached the ground floor, Will bumped into Officer Tom and Officer Tom smiled. Will nodded his head and followed Zach outside. A drop of rain splashed on his nose as they stepped outside. "I'm assuming you didn't bring a car?"

"No, but I asked Liam if he could pick us up." Zach said as the maroon van pulled up. Will opened a door and got in with Zach close behind him. Liam looked at Will with a smile. "Liam where are the others. Oh Will... is it ok if the others came to the court?"

"Sure..?" Will said quietly.

"They are taking Strawb's truck there." Liam said as he pulled away from the hospital and drove down the road with a small gps telling him the directions to the court." Ounce they got there, Liam looked at Will and said, "By the way, it's good seeing you again." 

"Same here." Will replied as he opened the door and stepped out of the van. 

He looked up as Officer Tom walked towards him and led him away from Zach and Liam. He walked to the courts front desk and said, "This is Will. He was Chris' hostage."

The person nodded and handed Will a paper that said 'Witness' on it. Will frowned as he stood there waiting for Zach and Liam but the officer stopped him, "You can't wait for them. You will be seated somewhere else while they are in the watching seats." Will frowned as Zach exchanged a glance with him. Will sighed but followed Officer Tom into the court room and sat at the witness booth. The only other person in the booth with him was Ann. Ann looked at Will her hazel eyes filled with guilt.

An hour passed since the court started and the lawyer looked at Will and said, "Witness 1 to the stand!" Will stood up hesitantly feeling gazes burning down onto him as he walked forward towards the front wear he was sweared then sat infront the room, "Please state your name."

Will looked at Zach as he sat there feeling a tug of anxiety in his chest, he gulped and said, "Will."

The man nodded then said, "Ok, Will please answer these questions, Were you taken hostage by a man named Chris Johnson?"

"Yes sir." Will replied as the jury gasped and looked at Chris with sudden fear.

"And what exactly happened while you were his hostage. Please tell us everything that happened." Will felt Chris glaring at him with hatred but didn't look at him and kept his eyes focused on Zach. 

"He kept me in this basement that was about 10* and there were two dead bodies in there, but then he said to me, 'you are my hostage but you will also be my slave. So don't think of escaping or you will die." Will paused then continued, "Then on the first day he tied a metal ball around my ankle so then I couldn't escape although it did slow me down on what he wanted me to do. And just from not answering one question he shaved my hair off." Will looked at Chris and saw him glare at him with hate. Will frowned and felt the room circle around him as he looked at Chris, He shook the thought away and looked back up at the lawyer.

"Yes but what about the water and food?"

Will thought for a moment remembering the dirty water he didn't dare drink as well as the peas he used to write on the ground, 'I'm sorry.' He looked up and said, "The water was unfiltered and he only gave 5 peas which I wrote I'm sorry on the ground because I knew that if I died there and I was found at my last breath that at least they didn't find me completely dead and had a few words from me."

The lawyer nodded then said, "Witness 2!"

 Will got up and passed Chris and felt his gaze burning onto him as he walked back to his seat. To his surprise Zach was also there, Zach leaned beside him and whispered, "I was told to sit here for finding the note about your disappearance." Will nodded and looked up as the lawyer began talking about the note as a piece of evidence then called Zach to the stand. Zach walked past Will and sat up their with vengeance in his eyes.


"Please state your name." The lawyer questioned but, trailed off when Zach replied.

"Zach,"

"Ok,  please read this note that you found in your room and explain to us what was on the picture that came with it." The lawyer said ounce again rolling his eyes.

"To whom it may concern, I have taken your friend hostage until you can give me this one thing, $1 Million dollars. If I don't receive this in 1 week, this man will die." Zach paused and Will saw him look at him with sad eyes, "A-and the photo had a picture of Will with a knife to his neck." 

The lawyer nodded and opened up a laptop and turned on a large Tv and put the picture under the camera for everyone to see it, Will shifted and looked up again as they continued, "Very well, Jury you may make your final decisions." The judge said as the jury stood up and left the room. Zach sat back down beside Will and grabbed his hand, Will blushed and looked at him with a small smile.

The jury came back into the room and one of them yelled, "Your honor, we find Chris... GUILTY!"

Chris stood up and yelled in outrage, "WHAT! I SWEAR!" but, two officers were handling him by handcuffing him and walking him down the courtroom towards the exit. 

Zach smiled at Will and said, "Tomorrow's the last day of Pax east, think you will be able to go?"

"Of course Graze, besides I leave that hospital today to go back to the apartment." Will responded as they both got up and walked towards the others. I hope Chris forgets me and never finds me again. Will thought as he waved at the rest of the cube, he acted like he was there but really he was lost in his own thoughts.
