Light and dark

You're so beautiful,

You make my heart pound when ever I see you,

But I know you would never feel the same way,

I'm a misfit In The shadows,

And you're an idol in the light,

You make me giggle when I'm crying,

You make me smile when my heart is shattering,

But,

I'm me,

I have to stay in the dark,

While you stay in the light,

Because,

I don't want you in the shadows too,

I don't want to ruin you,

You couldn't love someone like me even if you tried,

We are too different,

I'm sorry,

But I must stay away,

You must shine,

And I must be dull,

That's just how it works.
