The rocket was done and everything was in order. "Everything is account for we leave in ten minutes" said Fangs "You know what that means" said Wings "Everyone on the ship" shouted Fists, as everyone ran onto the ship and Fangs sighed holding his head. "Amateurs" he said, as everyone was giggling. Except for me and Shadow. Shadow for obvious reasons, but me... for some reason I was getting a bad feeling in my stomach. "Glow" said Shadow, as I paused and looked at him looking at me. "Your quiet today" he said, as I lowered my eyes and looked outside seeing the rocket was getting ready to launch. "Shadow... I have a feeling something bad is going to happen" I said, as he paused and stood next to me. "Is it me kind of bad?" he asked, as I paused and hugged him. He looked at me shocked but patted my back. "I don't believe your bad Shadow" I said, as he looked down at me. "Your wonderfully different... like me... but my bad feeling... it's like something dark is waiting for us" I said, as Shadow narrowed his eyes and looked at the sky. ""Count down in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5,-" said Tails, as Chains growled. “Blast off" he shouted pressing the button, as it blasted off into the sky. "CHAINS" shouted Tails, as Chains pulled down his eye lid and stuck out his tongue. Tails rolled his eyes and we started flying towards Egg man's space station. "Alright landing gear on" said Tails, as the rocket landed. Then the doors opened as everyone was in their space suits. We all walked out and started looking around. "Hey I found something" shouted Scar, as we all surrounded him. "Called project Zerk" he said, as we paused. "A superior form powerful enough to create another planet in case one is destroyed" said Scar, as our eyes widened. "What?" said Amy "Oh crap" said Scar, as we looked at him. "What?" asked Fists "When Egg Man had us... he experiment on Zerk for him to absorb us so he could be the ultimate form... more than Shadow if that's possible" said Scar, as we stopped. "Does it exist?" asked Sonic, as Scar went through the papers. "It doesn't say" said Scar, as I narrowed my eyes. "Let's keep searching" said Gust, as I paused when my body was glowing again. Shadow then narrowed his eyes "something's coming" said Shadow, as we all paused. "It's probably Eggman again" said Amy closing her eyes. I paused and narrowed my eyes. "I don't know" I said "you guys worry too much" said Amy closing her eyes. "They should" said a voice, as everyone stopped seeing a green hedgehog, he had no left arm and his eyes were a piercing dark green. "Is that who I think it is?" asked Gripe narrowing his eyes. "Project Zerk" said Scar, as everyone narrowed their eyes. "I'm glad you finally returned to me my brothers and sisters" he said putting his hand into a fist. "Now... return to your elder brother and become one" he said, as our eyes widened when a huge yellow light blasted out of his left shoulder. "Discord" I shouted, as she nodded. "Discord SPLIT" she shouted, but our eyes widened when nothing happened. "What's going on?" asked Silk, as Zerk narrowed his eyes. "I am apart of you... and if I don't want you to leave... then your powers are useless... especially Discord's" he said, as our eyes widened. "I'll handle him make your way to the ship" said Knuckles, as we all nodded. "Fools" said Zerk, as his yellow light formed into a hand. Within a blink of an eye he caught Silk. "SILK" shouted Gripe, as she reached her hand out for him. He tried running, but he got caught with Silk as well. "SILK, GRIPE" I shouted as tears crawled down my face. "Glow" said Shadow, as I paused when he grabbed my hand and we started running. Knuckles growled punching Zerk across the face. He slid back and you could see a huge bruise on his face. Zerk smirked and as he did a silk cloth wrapped around his face and when it released his face was healed. "Silk's ability" said Discord, as Shade growled and grabbed Discord's hand causing them to run to the ship. Everyone was aboard the ship and Tails flew off. I looked out the window having tears crawling down my face. "I promised" "I whispered placing my hand on the window. As I did my body started glowing again. "TAILS MOVE FASTER HE"S COMING" I shouted, as his eyes widened. "Hang on everybody" he said, as the rocket blasted off faster.

We landed on the ground and everyone exited the ship. "And here I thought it would be hard to find you" said Zerk, as we all looked at him floating to the ground. "I'll distract him, you guys run for it" said Wings, as Chains growled. "Are you nuts Wings he'll absorb you too" said Chains, as Wings smiled and kissed his cheek. "Thanks for always looking out for me Chains" she said, as his eyes widened. "No wait Wings" said Chains, as she smiled and flew towards Zerk. He narrowed his eyes and held out his hands. Wings eyes widened. "Everyone run he's using Gripes smelly mist" she shouted, but her eyes widened as it was too late and she fell to the ground passing out. "WINGS" shouted Chains looking back. Fangs growled and grabbed his wrist. "Chains keep moving... it'll be in vain if you don't move" he shouted, as Chains growled running with tears crawling down his face. We managed to escape and we were hiding in a cave. "I can't believe it... Silk, Gripe and Wings" I said looking at the ground. "It'll be okay Glow" said Amy, as I put my hands into fists. "No it won't... I promised them... I promised I would keep them safe... it's all my fault and my stupid way of wanting to know my worthless powers" I said having tears crawling down my face. "Glow" said Gust, as Shadow looked at him. "Leave her be" he said, as Gust growled. "Make me" he shouted, as he growled at Shadow "Enough... we have to find a way to destroy Zerk before he absorbs us all" said Fists "agreed... so far he can use silks healing methods, use Gripes smelling techniques and now he can use Wings ability to fly and her touch skin that is hard to penetrate" said Scar, as we all paused. "Oh no we forgot the chaos emeralds back in the ship" said Tails, as I paused. "How many do we have?" I asked, as he looked at me. "What?" he asked, as I stood up and grabbed his fur picking him up. "Tails how many chaos emeralds are on the ship?" I asked, as he paused. "Four" he said, as I looked at Shadow and he looked at me. "Will you help me Shadow?" I asked, as he closed his eyes. "I gave my word didn't I?" he said, as I smiled. "Alright... Shadow and I are going back to the ship to get the chaos emeralds... don't move from this spot unless you have to" I said, as everyone looked at me. "Count me in" said Sonic, as I paused. "But Sonic" cried Amy "No way am I letting that Zerk guy get away with absorbing Silk, Gripe and Wings" he said, as I smiled a bit. "Thanks... Knuckles, Gust, Scar you three are the strongest... protect everyone with everything you got" I said "you got it Glow" said Scar "Fine" growled Gust "No problem" said Knuckles, as the three of us dashed back towards the ship. "Any sign of Zerk?" whispered Sonic, as I looked at my body. "All clear" I whispered, as we snuck back onto the ship. "Got them" said Sonic, as I smiled walking over to him. However I stopped as my body was glowing. "Something's wrong" I said, as Shadow narrowed his eyes. "Let's go" said Sonic, as we dashed out of the ship and towards the cave, however I paused only seeing Fists, Shade, and Discord. Amy, Tails and Knuckles were alright, but passed out on the ground. "Discord what happened?" I asked, as she was struggling to get up. "Gust, Scar, Chains and Fangs were absorbed" she said, as I stopped and I fell to my knees. "We have to stop him" I said, as Shadow walked up to me. "Glow" he said, as I looked at him. "Let's do this" he said, as I nodded wiping my tears away.
