VOTEEEEEE

Zayn’s POV

For days, I tried to forget about the kiss with Olivia. When I got home, I committed myself to sticking by Perrie’s side. I helped her a lot more with wedding plans in the last three days than I had in the last three months. She and I were both happy with one another, getting along and all that. I felt like we were connecting once again, the nerves of the wedding were slowly starting to dissolve.

Though my relationship with Perrie was going strong, my friendship with Liv was slowly diminishing. The last time we had really talked was the night of the kiss. The short message the next morning shouldn’t even really count. I don’t know what she’s thinking or how she’s feeling. I ran away from her before we could talk and we both wanted to avoid each other the next day.

All I knew was that, it was wrong for me to kiss someone else. But there was this feeling inside of me that inevitably liked the kiss. No matter how many times I try to deny it, I liked the kiss. It was different than any other kiss I have ever had.

“Zayn, we need to pick out cakes. Are you ready to go?” Perrie’s voice rang throughout the house, pulling me out of deep thoughts.

“I’ll be right there,” I said, slipping on my shoes before running downstairs. My beautiful fiancée was waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs with a huge smile on her face. I kissed her cheek, grabbed the keys and one of her heads before we headed out to the car.

The whole ride to the bakery was filled with different ideas she had in mind, but I wasn’t really paying attention. I pulled up to a familiar place that had a ton of paparazzi already outside. I don’t even know how they found out we were going to be here, but they always find us so it wasn’t a surprise.

My car was surrounded before we could even get out, but I pushed my way out. I headed to Perrie’s side of the car, helping her out. I held her close to me as we walked to the shop’s entrance. There were questions about the wedding being thrown at us, some even had to nerve to ask if the wedding was even real. I hated that, ever since we got engaged people made up rumors saying that we were all putting this on for show. Not only then, but people think our whole relationship is for show.

It annoyed me a lot to think that people thought that I was spineless. That I was incapable of making decisions for myself. From the moment I saw Perrie, I was taken back. I had fallen for her just like anyone else does when they meet someone they truly like and love. When I proposed, things were at a high place in our relationship. I knew that a lot of people didn’t approve, but it was my decision in the end.

Now, I don’t really know what’s going on in my head. But I can’t make hasty decisions because I’m confused. Like I said before, I was having feelings for my best friend because of the weddings fast approach. If I had really wanted to be with Olivia, I would have made a move way sooner than right now, right? Right, that’s what I’ll keep telling myself. I need to get my head set on straight because I’m going to completely lose it soon.

“Hello, I called about cake tasting,” Perrie said to the lady behind the counter.

The aroma of sweets filled my nose, making my mouth water a little. I always loved taking to food in times of comfort. This place, and the tasting, is going to be satisfying.

“Perrie and Zayn, correct?” the lady said, walking over to our side. We nodded and she lifted her hand for us to shake. “Looks like you guys brought company. Why don’t we go to the back and get you guys settled in there. It’s more private,” she said.

“That would be great,” I said, smiling at her.

“Great. I’m Abigail, by the way.” We politely nodded and greeted her using her name before she led us to the back. There was a table and chairs set up for us.
