Weakness (On Hold For Now)

Chapter one: How They Met

Once again I was sent to the ground with a sword pointed at my chest. Chole you need to anticipate her every move.

Strike harder and quicker. The enemy with not have mercy and you will be dead in seconds.
Stop fighting like a coward. Now do it again Ben shouted. 

I groaned as I got up for what seemed the hundredth time. Faster and harder Ben shouted as we took our positions.

After a few more hours of drills Ben finally called it a day. I was worn out and hurting. But a warrior does not complain and keeps there head held high.

Your pathetic Rezem. Why don't you just go marry Chole and stop fooling yourself into thinking your a knight jace laughed pushing the younger boy over.

Knock it off jace I yelled. What are you gonna do about it Chole. Your just as pathetic as he is jace laughed.

Tough words for a coward. Care to put those words to use I said taunting him. Jace drew his sword and pointed it at me.

Give me a reason to hurt ya jace said. With pleasure I said holding up my sword. Chole you don't have to do this rezem said.

I've got this rez I said taking my stance. Jace lunged first making it easy to doves his blow and strike him from behind with a simple kick.

But he was on his feet again quickly. Charging at me again with more force. The sound of clashing medal was all that anyone around could hear besides the screams of encourgement.

Get jace one of them yelled. By now my lip was bloody and my face scratched up. I had got a few blows in cutting jace just above his brow.

But it was my final blow that knocked jace down taking his wind with him.

I pointed my blade at his throat breathing heavily. Give me a reason. Go in give me one I yelled.

Jace laid there motionless with fear in his eyes. That's enough Ben yelled as he made his way over.

But I didn't move. Apologize to him I yelled. Jace looked over at rezem then back to me. I said apologize I yelled louder.

Jace shook with fear before bending. I'm sorry rezem jace yelled. Chole I said enough Ben said putting his had on my blade.
Slowly I lowered it watching as jace scrambled to his feet and ran away. I'm sorry sir. I'll except whatever punishment you have for me I said.

You are not in trouble Chole. I saw the whole thing. You were right to defend your fellow knight.

And you did not give. That is the true honnor of a knight. Keep up the good work. As for you rezem lets go have a talk with jace about honnor Ben said as he pulled rezem away.

I sighed before placing my blade back in its holder. That was very brave of you someone said. Chole turned to see a girl in a beautiful dress walking towards her. 

I bowed my head in respect.  Thank you princess I said as she finally reached me.  You may call me Luna she said smiling.  Thank you again princess Luna I said. 

What is the name they call you she asked?  I am called Chole I said softly.  Well Chole I would be so honored to have your loyalty as my guard. 

Having someone I trust is hard to come by.  Would you consider it she asked?  I was beyond honored to even be asked such a thing but could I really take on such a big task. 

I would be most honored princess.  Come and see me when your training is finished and the possision is yours she said before making her leave.  I could tell this was going to be the start of an amazing year for me.
