Weakness (On Hold For Now)

Chapter 2: Last Day

To those of you have made it this far congratulations.  This is your final lesson.  After this lesson you will be placed into the jobs you have been chosen for Ben said.
Today was the final test and also the last day I would have to put up with jace.  From what I herd he got chosen to be a guard for Prince Tyler in the kingdom of black. 
He would be leaving tomorrow.  The hours seemed to pass us by quickly.  Soon the Sun was going down and we were dismissed to get ready for the ceremony. 
I was indeed nervous.  The job I was chooses for was quite important and if I failed it would be my life. 
I took a deep breath before entering my chambers.  Inside on my bed was my royal guards uniform.  It was neatly laid out across my bed.
Everything from the blue tassels to the red stripes was beautiful.  I was told to only wear it for balls and formal occasions. 
And tonight was a form occasion.  So I quickly washed and dressed myself.  I made sure everything was straight and right. 
Soon a knock was herd at my door.  Once I opened it I saw rezem standing there.  I thought I'd walk with you one last time he said. 
Rezem still didn't know where he was being placed.  There was words of a far away kingdom but nothing solid.
So together we walked meeting up with our trainer been at the entrance.  There you two are. Its almost time. 
Remember straight line and no fighting Ben said looking Mostly at jace.  The doors opened  and the trumpets sounded as we made our way in front of the king. 
Soon things got quiet as the king stood.  Today is a celebration.  For today these fine men and women have completed there training and will be putting there lives at risk. 
They choose to protect And today is the day we celebrate them.  Now I shall announce where they will be heading king Ryan yelled. 
My eyes caught the princess for a moment.  She was sitting on a golden thrown in her violet purple dress.  Purple and pink seemed to be her favorite colors.  I watched as th king grabbed a scroll and opened it slowly. 
Jace Garner will be personal guard to Prince Tyler in the kingdom of black.  Lucas Milner will be a gate guard here in apella king Ryan said. 
I tuned most of what he said out. Being to caught up in my own thoughts until he spoke rezems name.
I quickly turned to look at my best friend.  Rezem noble will be personal guard to the duke of Bluewater king Ryan said.  Instantly my face grew pail.  Bluewater was days away from apella.
Seeing rezem would nearly impossible.  But I did not cry out or show my pain.  I kept my head tall. 
And last Chole kingsly will be royal guard to my daughter princess Luna.  These are your places.  Tonight we celebrate and tomorrow your work begins. The nights events were hard to get through. 
All I could think about was rezem.  This wasn't at all how I had thought things would be.  That night after the party all I could do was cry until eventually I fell asleep.
