Chapter 4 - Next day

No one's pov:

The next day at school, during free period, Cameron waited at a table prepping for the French lesson he had scheduled with Bianca. His eyes lit up when Bianca walked in and sat down next to him. "Hi. Can we make this quick? Roxanne, Korrine and Andrew Barrett are having an incredibly horrendous public break-up on the quad. Again." She stated impatiently. Cameron was shocked initially before re-composing himself. "Oh, yeah, um, okay. I thought we'd start with pronunciation, if that's alright with you." he went on opening his French book. "Not the hacking and gagging and spitting part. Please." Bianca said sounding disgusted. "Well, uh, there is an alternative." Cameron offered. "There is?" "Yeah, French food. We could eat some together, uh, Saturday night?" he asked her nervously and she smiled. "You're asking me out? That's so cute. What's your name again?" she asked. "Cameron. Listen. I know that your dad doesn't let you date, but I thought that if it was for French class-" Cameron went on. "Oh, wait a minute... Curtis-" Bianca started, "Cameron." He corrected. "My dad just came up with a new rule: I can date when my sister Kat and her friend Rachel do." she explained, "You're kidding! Well let me ask you, do you like sailing? Cause I read about this place that rents out boats-" Cameron went on ready to go on a date with her already. "A beaucoup problemo, Calvin. In case you haven't heard, my sister's a particularly hideous breed of loser and Rachel is a great person, but she told me she isn't in for a relationship right now." Bianca explained looking disappointed. "Yeah yeah. I noticed your sister's a little anti-social. Why is that?" Cameron asked. "Unsolved mystery. She used to be really popular, and then it was like... she got sick of it. Or something. There is a bet as to why, but I'm pretty sure she's just incapable of human interaction. Plus, she's a bitch." Bianca said in a matter of fact tone. Well,yeah, but I'm sure, you know, that there are... lots of guys who wouldn't mind going out with a... difficult woman. I mean, you know, people jump out of airplanes, ski off cliffs. It would be like 'extreme dating'." Cameron offered, "Huh? You think you could find someone that extreme?" Bianca asked, "Yeah, sure, why not?" Cameron stated, "And you'd do that, for me?" Bianca asked with a smile, "Hell yes! I-I mean, you know, I could look into it..." he stated evenly.

Rachel's pov:

"...so that's the rule: Bianca can't date unless both Kat and I do, but the problem is that Kat doesn't do dating..." I told Jake, "That's weird... She seems really great!" he said and I smirked, "Ooh, what happened Jakey?" I told him still smirking and he blushed a bit... "N-nothing, I just-" he stuttered, but I understood everything because he doesn't usually lose his words like this... I think they would be perfect for each other...
