But it matters

It's been some hours after the whole incident. I just been in my room thinking about what he said. I called Jay.

"What's up ma?"

"Should I get an abortion Jay? Do you really want to raise a baby with ne?"

"Fucking no Angel the fuck wrong with you, it's my baby so imma take care of it."

"How? We both don't have a job."

"Imma quit football and get a job."

"No Jay I don't want you to do that, we'll figure something out."

"Aye yo brother and his crew outside my fucking house you need to come get his ass."

I sighed then hung up. I got in my car and drove to his house. These niggas were like 20 deep outside his house. I hate these niggas so much. I ran to Terrence and grabbed him. "Nah he man enough to have sex with you so he man enough to get his ass beat."

I started hitting his dumbass. He pushed me and I fell straight on my ass.Tears started flowing down my eyes as he tried helping me up. I pushed his hands away and rubbed my stomach. Trey ran towards me and helped me up. Terrence glared at Trey then continued to yell at Jay's door. I pulled Te's arm and he yanked it away. "Damn Terrence leave him alone! If you want to beat somebody ass it should be me too! It takes two." I yelled pushing his chest.

"Hit me nigga! Hit me!" I screamed as tears flowed down my face. He grabbed my arms and pushed me again. Somebody grabbed my waist and whispered in my ear, "Baby girl calm down he ain't gon do shit to Jay." I knew it was Red by his voice.

I turned around and faced him. "I just want to bring this baby into a peaceful world." He wiped my tears and held me. "You will ma trust me." "All this drama! I won't."

Minutes later Terrence dumbass decided to leave and just go back to school. I'm not even mad he left without saying goodbye,fuck him. I was hurt Devin or Trey didn't say bye,but it's whatever.

Months later

I'm 7 months and I'm taking classes on campus. My doctor said next month I have to really rest. I'm having a girl and I know her daddy and uncles going to spoil the shit out of her. Terrence softened up on me. He checks on me every day and says he's sorry. Jay in school a hour away so I don't see him everyday but we FaceTime and call eachother. Trey talk to me every now and then. Red still comes over but I promise we're not having sex.

This morning marks my 8 month period and my back is killing me. I'll just take my classes online today. "You ok baby?" my ma asked walking in. "My back hurts so imma stay home."

"Aw ok make sure you drink water but the painters are here. What colors you wanted in the nursery?" "I want all the walls Pink with Yellow and Green circles." She nodded her head then closed the door.

Jay FaceTime alert showed up on my phone. "Hey!" I said excitely. "Yo you sure that baby mine?" I was thrown off and shocked as fuck. "We did have unprotected sex right?" He just looked into the camera deadass serious. "Jay she's yours ok." I said softening up. "I been hearing shit from people that you fucked Trey." "Jay he's not the father I promise." I said getting emotional.

"When she born I want a DNA test ma." he said. "How you feeling?" "Fuck you Jay." I ended the call and started crying. Thinking about how I was pregnant by Trey at one point in time but had a miscarriage before I told him. Now Jay asking if this his baby. I wasn't even sleeping with Trey at this t- Red.

Red has a lot of girls in his family and Jay has a lot of boys. I'm having a girl, hold up no Red isn't the father. I brushed that thought out my head and wobbled downstairs to get the door. Red beat me to it though. My auntie Dee ran inside hugging me. "Oh my gosh auntie!" I screamed. She pulled away rubbing my belly. "You're so big! oh my gosh can't believe you're going to be a mommy I was just changing your diaper."
