While cruising down the street of Tupelo, everyone looked at it with awe. He winked and smiled at every girl that was walking down the street. He arrived at his little house grinning as widely as he could. He jumped out of his car and jogged to the door. He knocked on the door almost loudly considering how existed he was. Gladys came out hugging him immediately. Elvis squeezed her back. "I got a surprise for you" Elvis whispers in Glady's ear. Elvis turns around and points to his car. Glady's jaw immediately flew wide open. "SURPRISE!" Yelled Elvis with joy. Elvis hugs Gladys tightly. Glady bawls into Elvis's shoulder. Vermont comes rushing out immediately towards Gladys. "Is everything okay???" asked Vermont. Gladys point to the car "L-look" Vernon looks at the car with his jaw also dropped. Elvis pulls Vernon into the hug. They hugged for a minute and then they all look at the car. Gladys walks towards the car while her hand covered her mouth. She touches the car quickly as if it was hot. then looks inside the car and gasped. She grabs her chest as if she was having a heart attack. She turns around were Elvis was standing and cries on his shoulder again. Vernon looked at every part of the car. Head to toe. once he was done, he looks at Elvis and smiles. "Boy! This sure is a buet! Can we test this bad boy out?" Ask Vernon. "Sure thing, pa. say, mama. Do you wanna come too?" Asked Elvis politely. "Wouldn't miss it for the world!" Smiled Gladys. "then that settles it! Lets roll!" Said Elvis excitingly. Elvis opens the passenger's door happily for Gladys and Vernon then shuts the door when they were comfortably seated. Elvis jogs to the drivers seat, then hops in. He turns on the engine, making it rumble "Wheew Whee! That is a purdy roar!" Yelled Vernon. Elvis smiles then back up out of the driveway, zooming off into the street again.
Everyone enjoyed every bit of the ride. They drove on every single road there was in Tupelo. It was till nighttime when they arrived home. Gladys cooked up some Mash Potatoes with gravy along with turkey fresh from a close friend's farm. After when the feast was over there was of course nothing left over. The food was so delicious that they stuffed them self's till they collapse. After diner, everyone was exhausted so they all cleaned up and kissed each other goodnight. "Thanks hunny. Today was amazing." Said Gladys. Elvis blushed. "I'm glad that ya'll are happy." Gladys and Vermont hugged Elvis again then went to sleep.
