Desiree and I gathered up Rixton, Blane, Tyler, and Cyndel to join us on this "journey" or whatever you wanna call it, which you probably already knew we were going to choose them. We waited till around 8 o' clock, the new curfew time, and waited till everyone cleared out of the main room. I ran over to the door with them behind me and pulled the paper out of my pocket, copying the symbol, then stuffed it back in my pocket and opened the door. Before we left we made sure we had all the weapons we need on us then walked out, making sure to stay in a group, no one to far ahead or behind. We knew it would take us about 3 weeks to get there, which isn't long but, it was gonna be a little hard to make sleeping arangments.
Jace's P.O.V.
"Wait, how did she find out about us?" Clary asked.
"Once William was possessed she went to Mylex who told her." I said. I really didn't want this to happen so soon. "I thought I told Mylex to keep his mouth shut about it." she sighed and looked up at me.
"Jace, it was going to happen sooner or later and who knows what could've happened to her if she didn't find out," she put her hand on my shoulder "we should find out where she is and bring her to the institute quickly." she then started to panic "Jace, what if she gets hurt before we find her?!"
"Darling, relax, she's strong." I rubbed her back "I know she'll be fine." I kissed her forehead and walked over to the floating glass bubble, I use it to watch over her to make sure she's safe. I looked into it and saw her and ,who I am assuming, her friends walking "She's okay," I looked over my shoulder to Clary who looked as relieved as I did. "we should set off before anything really bad happens." she nodded and we got all our weapons, gathering up Isabelle and Alec, I made sure to grab the glass bubble and we started off. I really hope she doesn't get hurt or worse, killed, before I can make it. I wouldn't know what to do if I found out my daughter died, although I haven't seen her in 16 years, I'm really attatched
Rylee's P.O.V.
The morning sun begins to rise as we continue walking down this never ending path. Till next thing I know, I hear loud thuds getting closer and closer, great a demon found us. We all got into a circle, backs facing each others, and looked in every direction till we finally saw it. It was huge three headed dog that didn't exactly look so friendly, more like, hungry but, with all 6 of us on it at once, we'll kill it without a problem. The first one to charge was Blane who got thrown into a large rock, then Rixton who got scratched across the face and thrown in the same direction as Blane. The only ones left were Desiree, Cyndel, Tyler, and I until Cyndel was thrown back but, managed to get up. "I'll distract it, when it comes after me, Rylee, you use that freezing rune and when it stops, Desiree and Cyndel can pierce the heart." Tyler said. We didn't have much of a choice so we nodded and went along with it. Tyler yelled "Hey, over here ya big mutt!" gaining it's attention as it was going after him, I quickly grabbed the stele and drew the rune then pointed my palm in the direction of the mutt and it paused then Desiree and Cyndel took out their blades, walked under it and stabbed it straight in the heart then ran out from under it before it bursted out goo. I ran over to Blane and Rixton who were lying there weak, Blane groaned and I asked "You okay? "
"Yeah, you?" I nodded and dug into my bag for a medicine to cure the stratch across Rixton's face. Blane took one look at him and said the medicine wouldn't work for this kind of wound, I tried a few runes but none of them worked. "C'mon," Blane said getting up "I'll help him along the way but, we can't stay here for long or else they'll find us and we'd have a whole lot of trouble on us at once." he helped Rixton up and he seemed to have a limp so Blane wrapped Rixton's arm around his neck and helped him along. How are we supposed to fight off these demons with an injured group member? There is no way in hell I'm leaving him behind to possibly die so, we'll have to deal with it somehow.
