“Ashton!” I screamed. The car screeched to a halt as we collided the one in front of us. Flipping forward, both Calum and I ducked down, trying to avoid any stray shards of glass that came from the windows. I closed my eye, hoping it would all be over soon.

The car finally stopped moving and I opened my eyes once again. Small flames of fire came from the front seat, along with the now used airbags. The side window was open, so I turned to exit. “m-Mikey” Luke called from the front. “Ash, Cal…” he whispered. I pushed my hand up through the airbags and moved them out of the way. “I’m here Luke...” I said, placing my hand on his shoulder. His right hand moved up, touching mine and lowered to his seatbelt, unbuckling it. He lightly squeezed my hand, and turned toward his the front side door and kicking it open. He crawled out and sat on the sidewalk, pulling out his phone from his pocket.  I moved up to his now empty seat, crawling out the window and sitting next to Luke. “Yes, we need to get to the hospital immediately… please hurry…thanks you.”  He said into the phone before hanging up. Ashton and Calum were still in the car. We waited five, ten, fifteen minutes passed before the medics came, and followed by a few police cars. I started feeling dizzy as one of the hospital people came over to Luke and I.

I was helped up and steadily walked over to one of the ambulances, laying back down on it. One of those oxygen masks came over me and covered my mouth. Luke was next to me on another bed, looking down, his face now red and tearstained. I looked forward, finding that there was a white cloth going between our shattered car and the police car next to it. I saw someone being dragged out from the front. My eyes began to feel heavy and the room was really spinning faster now. “We’re losing one…” one of the doctor said. Next thing I knew, the room was black, and I was out.
