"Hermione! Hermione!"
Hermione turned her head towards Draco who was running towards her. The next moment Hermione found herself in a strong kiss before Draco pulled away.
"What? You seem happy." Hermione said. Before Draco had come she had been trying to bond with the phoenix that flew around in the drawing room.
"I figured it out! How to remake the philosophers stone! I was right, the phoenix is part of it but it's a whole equation we have to figure out! We need the phoenix, but there are still a lot of other things we need to get, and that's why I want you to come with me to travel the world and we can get the other ingredients for the stone!" Draco replied cheerfully.
Hermione stood with her mouth hanging open. She was taken aback by this.
"I don't know, Draco. I have a great job, and I have friends here who I care about. I can't leave now."
" I understand. I love you, Hermione, and I want you to come with me." Draco replied.
"Say that again."
"I want you to come with me?"
"No! The other thing."
"Ha, Granger, that was a one-time thing and I'm not going to say it again."
"Oh really? Are you sure about that, Malfoy?" Hermione entangled Draco into a deep kiss.
"Fine... I love... You, Hermione." Draco said through the kiss.
Hermione pulled away.
"I love you too, Draco." She said, smiling.
"Merlin, Hermione. You could be a Slytherin with charms like that."
"Yeah, this is what happens when I'm around you for so long."
"One question. When are we going to tell everyone about us?" Draco asked
"Now that you say that, I've actually haven't thought of that. I think the true question is, how are we going to tell them?" said Hermione.
"I think we should tell the Potters first," Draco said quickly.
"Okay. I understand, your parents probably won't accept the fact that their son is dating a mudblood."
"Don't call yourself that. Who cares if your parents are muggles."
"Oh really, have you forgotten those so many times you called me a mudblood? And have you forgotten about this?" Hermione pulled down her sleeve to show the scar that shined the word mudblood. "I'm labeled as a mudblood for the rest of my life thanks to your twisted aunt."
"Hermione. I-I don't care. I care about you. My aunt was a horrible person. She tortured and killed so many people, I'm just glad she didn't kill you. I don't want you to feel this way because of what she did to you." Draco admitted.
"You didn't try to stop her though! You could have, but no! I will never forgive you for that! I h-"
"Hermione! I didn't try to stop her because do you even know what she's like? No! You don't! I've known her for a long time! What she did to you was nothing! I don't know if you should go on some stupid trip with me Hermione! We're not meant to be! I am a terrible person and you are the goody good girl! Leave! Now!" Draco yelled at Hermione angrily.
She walked out of the room and slammed the door behind her.
Draco sat on the couch. He ran his hands through his platinum blonde hair. He really was a horrible person. He regretted saying everything to Hermione. She would probably always hate him. How had that escalated so quickly? Draco stood up and punched his fist through the wall with anger. He hated himself for saying all those terrible things.
