Honest
"Hey Mel and Harmony." I said letting them in the house.
"Hey boo." Mel said walking in.
"Hi." Harmony came in. I shut the door behind them and locked it.
"Where the boys?" Mel asked coming out my kitchen with some chips and chocolate chip cookies.
"I know you ain't come into my house and eat my shit." I said shaking my head at her. I sat at the chair that was at the counter.
"You greedy." Harmony said. "Give me one." She took a cookie out her hand and ate it.
"But they upstairs taking a nap." I said. I rested my elbow on the counter and held my head in my hands. I was tired.
"What you tired." Mel said hitting my arm.
"Yes." I said moving her hand. "What are you doing?"
"These cookies good as fuck." Harmony said sitting next to me munching on my cookies. She brought the whole pack out.
"Can y'all not come here eating all my shit." I said laughing and taking a cookie out and eating it.
"Girl we hungry. Why you ain't cook." Harmony said looking around the kitchen like food would appear.
"I didn't feel like it." I yawned. "I took Ty and TJ to the mall with me today and took them to the park. I was about to get a nap in."
"Girl you too much." Mel laughed and waved me off.
"I'm foreal. Y'all try and have two toddlers. Shit is the struggle." I said.
"Where your baby daddy at anyway." Harmony asked. I rolled my eyes playfully at her use of words.
"He upstairs. He was in here getting on my nerves not tryin to let me sleep."
"Hey bae." I hear Profit call. "Who was at the-" He stopped once he came in view.
"Hey Pro." Mel said. I got another cookie and bit it.
"Hey twins." He went over and gave them a hug. "What y'all doing here?"
"We just came to talk to Honest." Harmony said.
I placed the other half of the cookie to my mouth and was about to bite into it when Profit stopped me.
"Let me have some." He said standing in front of me.
"It's a whole pack right there." I said once I removed the cookie.
"I want yours." Erky.
"Here." I gave him the cookie. He put it in his mouth and smiled.
"Aww y'all too cute." Harmony said.
"She ugly. I make us look cute."
"Yea right." I rolled my eyes.
"Damn I missed them. I'll pick them up next time." I laughed. He was talking about when I roll my eyes they would fall out and he would have to catch them.
"You play too much."
"I'm rey' go though." He said.
"Mmhm." I turned back around and faced Harmony and Mel.
This is what gets me. Him having to always leave. I understand you do what you do but he don't have to be there every day. He's his own boss.
"Don't do that." He pulled my hair and my head went back. I gasp and turned around. It wasn't that hard but still. He had a goofy grin on his face.
"Stop playing." I pouted my lips.
"I'm not even going to be out long." He said.
"Ok. Whatever." I said. He pulled me into a hug and I left my arms dangling at my sides. He chuckled and kissed my cheek.
"I love you."
"I love you too." I mumbled. He grabbed his keys and left out.
"Ugly ahh."
"Girl stop frontin you know he ain't ugly." Mel said drinking a Kapri Sun. I laughed.
"Y'all need to stop eating all my kids food."
I snatched the juice from her and she mugged me. I blew her a kiss and went to throw away our trash. Them hoes ate all the cookies.
"But on the real we got information." Harmony said.
"What y'all got?"
"We know where Dakota at." Mel said. I smiled.
