Love Grows Fire (Ticci Toby x Reader)

Chapter 7

(Reader's POV)

         "Where am I?"  I thought as I sat up. I was in some sort of infirmary. Then I saw Toby arguing with the man with the blue mask. There was a man dressed up as a doctor and his surgeon mask had a smile on it. He didn't have it on though. He was motioning me to get down. Should I listen to him or get to Toby? I decided to listen to the doctor. The floor creaked. I heard the arguing stop. I quickly crawled out of the bed and crawled under a desk that was next to the bed. I hid there. My breathing was heavy so I covered my mouth with my hand. I saw Toby looking at my last hiding spot.

         "I'll be back" I heard Toby say. Then he slammed the door close. The three men let out a sigh of relief. 

         "You can come out now" a voice said. I slowly got out of my hiding spot. 

         "I thought that she would run to Toby" the blue mask guy said.

         "I think we all did" the doctor said. I growled. Then I winced in pain. The doctor took my hand and placed me on one of the beds. The doctor and the blue mask guy worked on my wounds. I didn't say anything to them. I just looked out the window. A few minutes later, I was starting to get bored. "Done" the doctor said.

         "Thank you" I said, giving them a smile. 

         "What's your name anyways?" the blue mask guy asked. 

         "(Name)" I replied. 

         "That's a beautiful name (Name), my name is Dr. Smiley and this is Eyeless Jack or EJ" Dr. Smiley said. 

         "It's nice to meet you guys" I said. I turned to EJ. "I'm sorry for attacking you" I said, looking down. 

          "It's okay, I was impressed with your skills that you have with your sword especially when you were hurt" he said. I looked up and smiled.

           "Thank you" I replied.

           "I have a feeling that getting along with this girl won't be a problem" Dr. Smiley said. I led out a small giggle. 

(Dr. Smiley's POV)

           "The one that just left is Jeff" I said. 

           "The one with the white hoodie?" (Name) asked.

           "Bingo" I said. She led out another cute giggled. No wonder Toby is so protective when it comes for her. Most of the pastas said that they wouldn't kill her. Hopefully they keep their promise. EJ and me introduced her to everyone, except Masky and Hoodie. 

           "I don't think we should introduce her to them" EJ said.

           "I agr-" I started to say. I didn't even get in to finish because (Name) was already approaching them. We hid and got ready in case if they did try to kill her. They both stared at her as she approached them. She wasn't scared. "What a bold girl". I smiled at that thought. 

(Masky's POV)

          The girl approached us with no fear. 

          "Hello" she said, waving. We didn't say anything. Then she gave us a confused look. "My name is (Name)" she said. Still no response.

           "My name is Hoodie" Hoodie said, extending his hand. (Name) took it, smiling. 

           "It's nice to meet you" she said before letting go of his hand. 

            Then I said "My name is Masky" 

            "It's nice to meet you to" she said. Then she noticed that we were playing checkers. She studied the board for a minute. Then (Name) went over to my side. She grabbed one of my pieces and made a move. "Checkmate" she said, finishing the game. Our eyes widen. The girl really is something. Then she turned around and left.
