(Reader's POV)
Dark yelled my name multiple times. The only thing that was on my mind was escaping.
"Do you really think I'm going to let you escape that easily?" a voice behind me said. I turned around and saw Dark floating behind me. I squeaked of fear, letting go of the vines. I fell into Dark's arms. "Look at what the cat dragged in" Dark said, smirking.
"Let me go" I growled, trying to get out of his grasp.
"Why are you trying to escape?" he asked.
"I'm being used and right now I'm trying to escape so I can do the right thing" I snapped.
"You are not being used" Dark said, his eyes sparking with anger.
"I am being used! I shouldn't have ran away from the pastas, I was selfish and now it's time to make things right. The first step is to run away from the people that used and blinded me" I said, looking away.
"So you're going back to them?" he asked, with anger in his tone.
"Yes, now will you excuse me, I have problems to fix" I said, trying to get out of his grasp and grab a hold of the vines. His grip on me got stronger. Then I felt his hand going through my clothes, touching my bare skin. My eyes widen. I let out a small moan. "Stop" I whispered.
"I love you but I can't let you go to them especially to that bastard that broke your heart" Dark whispered.
"It's not his fault" I whispered back.
"I'm sorry" he said. Dark then placed his hand over my eyes. I felt my conscious drain out of me. Then I blacked out.
(Dark's POV)
I sighed as (Name) fainted in my arms. I couldn't disobey my father. I teleported to the dungeon. I took her to a cell and placed the chains on her wrists. I gave (Name) one last look. Then I gave her a kiss on the cheek. I teleported back to the ballroom. Everyone was still dancing. I approached my father.
"Father, (Name) has attempted to escape" I whispered. My father's eyes widen.
"Everyone I'm sorry but I have to end the ball due to some problems" father announced. People started to leave. When they left, he turned to me. "Son tell me why you want to marry this girl" he said.
"She captures my eye and she looks and acts like a girl from my dreams" I replied as we started to walk towards the study. Father nodded as he opened the door.
"Do you want to go on with this marriage even though she loves another man?" he asked, worried in his tone.
"Yes, I know that I'm close to getting her to fall for me" I said, remembering our first kiss.
"Alright, you may leave now" Father said, excusing me. I nodded and left. I walked to the garden. I sighed as I sat on the bench swing.
"(Name)...I'll never understand you and that's one reason why I love you" I said, closing my eyes.
