The air in Canada that night was bitingly cold.
At least in y/n's opinion.
The four teens chuckled as they walked through the parking lot of whatever random restaurant they were going to. Walking, y/n wrapped her coat tighter around her figure. She threw a playful scowl in Johnny's direction when he brought up the fact that no matter how hot it got, she was always freezing. After a day at the beach, she was bluntly cold. He always going that topic of conversation more funny than it really was, and brought it up more often than you'd think he would.
Despite the teasing, she was genuinely happy. Not for any specific reason though.
Just happy to be with such easygoing and fun people.
Especially Johnny. It was rare for her to spend time with her boyfriend, given his career. But nonetheless, she supported and loved that goofball a heck of a lot.
His personality was rooted in teasing, joking, making faces, and laughing at everything.
They made it into the restaurant. And thankfully there they didn't have to see the foggy could of warm air escape their mouths every time they breathed.
They were then waiting to be seated.
Y/n was pulled from her thoughts when a peanut shell landed on her folded arm.
She glanced across the small waiting area near the entrance of the restaurant. It had obviously been thrown by Johnny, who was attempting- yet failing- to look innocent. She just stared at him until their eyes met and they laughed, in which she took her opportunity in retaliation.
The messy haired boy scoffed when the same peanut shell hit his shoulder.
"How original of you", he said, voice just slightly drowned out by the buzz of unintelligible conversation.
She was not able to respond, as Lauren had caught on and threw a shell that hit Johnny in the face.
Then, with Hayden joining in, the small group of friends was involved in a mini war of projectile peanuts.
