Johnny's next tour was coming up really soon. You dreaded every time he went on tour. It was just the worst. You barely got to see him. This time, you decided to give him a gift that would keep you with him throughout the entire tour. You took his favorite sweater, that he wore way too much, from his room while he was at the studio. You went home and got out the sewing kit, and began on this project.
Once you were finished, you put the sweater in a small box, and put a ribbon around it. To: johnny From: y/n you signed it.
Before Johnny left for the airport, you told him to open his present. You stood cross armed, back against the wall behind you, waiting contently for his response. He untied the ribbon and pulled out the sweater, looking very confused.
"I love it y/n", Johnny said, careful choosing his words because he didn't want to hurt your feelings if you actually just gave him his own sweater. You giggled.
"You'll understand in a little", you replied. Then you got in the car and went to the airport. You hugged and kissed him goodbye and he was off.
A few days later, you got a text from John.

I WORE THE SWEATER TODAY
GOD I LOVE YOU SO MUCH
AND I MISS YOU SO MUCH TOO

All you did was sew in a small bead in a shape of a heart on the inside of the right sleeve, near the wrist. It had the initial of the first letter of your name. There was a small card inside it as well;

John,
Even though we're not together right now, I will always be with you. I love you and miss you like crazy, I can't wait for you to get back. Keep making me proud <3
