1. Welcome to the ACES

"You're fucking stupid." Adrian said blankly.

"I did nothing! All you did was stare at me for a good ten minutes!" Gaby said with an exasperated expression.

Adrian is a not so tall Asian male with an ego that can go for miles long. If there's no one to compliment him, he'll compliment himself.

He gaped at her. "You went on a rant about animated gay sex, for an hour!" Adrian maliciously said.

Gaby is one of the sweetest people but with a twist. Her kink level skyrockets to the moon. She lives for her gay porn and mangas. But I'm not the type to kink shame.

We were sitting in our bunk room beneath our "super secret" facility. To be quite frank, it was just an abandoned warehouse with a technologically advanced basement. Here, we took in citizens that weren't affected by Micros and ensured their safety. We made sure they weren't caught or captured due to their incapability of being a government controlled robot.

"Both of you need to shut up, I can't focus." Our computer genius, Khai said uninterested. He was invested in playing his PC game that I will never understand. He's the most mature and responsible out of our gang.

The loud notification rang on the big monitor in the middle of the bunker room. It signaled the next person that was in hiding because they weren't affected by the Micros implanted. Being one of the citizens with nowhere to run and thinking so differently than your family and everyone else was one of the loneliest and most dangerous times in the world. You would have to constantly hide your own ideas and act like an automated response machine. You would hide everything, especially your emotions. And if you were caught-

"Yo, Kat. You good?" Gaby said and snapped her fingers.

"I'm fine, just thinking about the past. That's all." I said sheepishly.

"C'mon Kat. We got you out of there so don't worry, you have us. We're your family now and you can trust us." She said.

I smiled back with trust in my eyes.

"Ok guys. We have a male, age 17, blonde hair, name is Jonah." Khai reported. We payed attention to the big monitor showing surveillance of a teenage boy angrily throwing books at his wall. It was stolen footage from Zenoc's surveillance cameras stashed everywhere in the city.

"We have to act fast. If we've seen footage of this then it's no doubt that Zenoc has. Especially because he revealed everything." I said.

"This amateur, doesn't he know there's cameras everywhere?" Adrian said.

"Something must have ticked him off, I guess." I answered. "Let's hurry." I tossed everyone their specified weapons. Each one of us has a weapon we're specialized in and each weapon has a special technique. I have electrified whips that is made out of flexible material that can easily wrap around it's opponents. Like Wonder Woman's whip but less magical and doesn't make you tell the truth. But it's still special, the electricity on my whip can move at my command. If I was hot like her, I'd be invincible.

"Open the portal, oh powerful wizard" Khai tells Gaby. She specializes in nano technology that can open portals to different places. Her weapon usage is from her rings that amplifies electricity through her knuckles. It gives her super strength in combat.

"Shut the fuck up, I'm a magician bitch." Gaby said with a humorously deep voice as she opened the portal to Jonah's bedroom.

I chuckled, "Oh my god. Okay Khai, you're the one to talk. You can levitate things and hack into things with your mind, Professor X. Speaking of which, hurry up and do your shit." Khai's weapon is pretty magical, well with electricity. His electricity can move with his command from his special gloves. He can also disturb cameras, video games, computers, and etc with his electric currents.

Khai jumped into the portal first and quickly shut off all cameras inside of the household when a loud slam rang through the house.

"Looks like they're here. Get your asses ready." I said.

Jonah bursted through the bedroom, red faced. He looked at us angrily and confused. "Who the fuck are you guys? Are you here to get me too?"

Adrian sighed, "Yes but to save your ass after you outed yourself in front of the damn government."

I smiled at Jonah. We're the good guys, don't worry." I turned to Gaby, "Keep the portal open."

Zenoc's men came bursting up the stairs. Adrian whistled, commanding his electric ninja stars to zoom to the group of men. The electric ninja stars intensely pressed on the enemy's pressure points and caused them to paralyze for a minute. He took out his nunchucks and went after the remaining men.

"Well since you're just going to stand there awestruck, I'll just throw you into the portal." I flicked the whip and wrapped Jonah around softly and pulled him into the portal to the bunker room.

Zenoc's men came flowing into the upstairs loft. I was worried for a second but a surge of an electric current went through the entire upstairs portion and knocked down the men. We all glanced at Gaby and gave her a thumbs up.

I gave her a goofy smile. "Thanks Gabs!"

Khai went into action and used his levitation skills to throw the Zenoc men's guns into different directions. The men we're still down due to the surge. I took this opportunity, to wrap them in my whip and used my leftover electricity as handcuffs around their wrists and ankles.

"This is good enough. Let's go before they call for backup." Gaby warned. We all jumped into the nano tech portal before closing it.

"That was some good ass adrenaline." Khai cheered.

We were about to walk away when someone silently coughed. "Uh... Who the hell are you guys?" The blonde teenage boy asked.

"Oh, I forgot about you. Uh, hi! Welcome to your super secret rebellion, the ACES." I smiled, welcomingly.
