"Corky you get in the front" Suzie said

I hopped out the truck and went to my trunk to get me some slides my feet was killing me. I got back in the truck and was headed home until Suzie said she was hungry.

"What you want Sue?" I asked?

I want a burger

"Bitch, we not back in Chicago all the good placed closed we can go to the chicken shack they close at 4" I said

Okay damn

The chicken shack wasn't too far from my condo so that's what we are eating

We got there and I parked the truck

"Everybody eating or what" I asked

"Yea" I heard in unison and Corky handed me a Benjamin

Nah, I got it my treat

I got out and went in and began to order when I felt someone behind me. I turned around and it was Shakey. I rolled my eyes and continued to order.

"Can I get 25 wings, a family size fries, extra lemon pepper and 4 mystics" I said I sliding my card to the man. He swiped it gave it back with a receipt.

"Who the fuck you getting all this shit for" Shakey asked

"Mind your business"I said.

I moved passed him and sat in one of the booths. I sat and looked through my phone until Shakey came and started bothering me again.

"JoJo, I asked you a question" he said

"What the fuck you doing on my side of town" I answered his question with a question

"I was getting something to eat now answer me Leneice" He said calling me by my middle name

"Don't be asking me no fucking questions when I haven't heard from you in a fucking year. Your ass can get out my face and keep it pushing" I said looking back at my phone. It felt like forever waiting

 "I got my reasons" He said. They finally called for our food I walked to get it and then Shakey stepped in my face

"I don't care bitch watch out" I said leaving out the restaurant I was half way to my truck when Shakey came up behind me and grabbed my arm.

"I don't give a fuck about your attitude don't call me out my fucking name" He said

"Yo, JoJo you good" I heard Corky say looking over he had stepped out the truck and was leaning on it.

"You got another nigga in the car with you too. I see I did the right thing" he said

"Shaquille, you have no reason to be mad you left me without saying nothing and you jumping in my face like shit was going to go back to normal bitch you must be drinking bleach. You go me oh so fucked. You fucked over me so many fucking times and I took you back each time. Even when Saniyah was born I treated that little girl like she was mine. I was acting different I been acting different and you never noticed. I don't know what you got going on but this time you can leave me out of it. I turned around and Corky was still leaning on the truck. He opened the driver side for me took the food and walked around and got in the car.

"You good JoJo we can do a drive by and fuck his shit up again?" Sue asked

"Nah, fuck him he just playing crazy he know what's good for him" I said. I pulled out of the space and made a u-turn and went the direction of home. Soon after we was pulling up to my complex. I put the code in and the gates opened.

. "Damn JoJo you living like this" Benji said "Shit if it was up to me, I'd be in the hood with a nice lil apartment you know regular  girl from Chicago, but my daddy thought this was the place for me" I said as I humped my shoulder's I parked the truck, and everybody got out. We all started up the stairs and I opened my door. I disabled the alarm and set it back since we were in for the night. I turned around to everyone that was on my couches "Ok rules since I don't know you nigga's like that. I know Sue taking the guest room that leaves you the couch. Don't lay your ass down without getting a sheet to put on it. They are in the hallway closet. Sue no fucking, if I ain't getting none you ain't either. Towels and extra toothbrushes in the same closet you are getting the sheets from. Smoking? It's a balcony in my room also the guestroom smoke outside my furniture is too expensive and don't need to smell like smoke and EAT IN THE KITCHEN! That will be all good night, folks. 

I walked to my room and entered my bathroom that was connected took some wipes and washed the make-up off and stripped down to take a shower. I got in and 25 minutes later I was out. I dried off and put on my cornbread fed shorts and a tank top with no bra. I went to see what everyone else was doing and I see that Sue and Benji was gone. Corky had his hat over his face and foot on my table. I walked to get a sheet and blanket for him and made the couch. I walked pass and hit his foot off my table. "Nigga you ain't at home. You can lay on that couch it's longer your tall ass still can't fit but I'm pretty sure it's better than this one you sitting on. He kicked off his shoes and took off his hat and shirt then laid down. "Thank you miss lady" he said staring at my chest. I went in my room and laid down myself. Sleep took over so quick I can't even tell you when I fell asleep.

I woke up at about 8:35 and got up and did my hygiene. I felt like being nice and started to make breakfast. About 30 minutes later only thing that was left to finish off was the grits and Suzie came strolling out the guest room.

"Oh, Allah must have woken you up on the best side of the bed today. You cooking and shit" she said.

"I'm trying to be a good host now y'all better eat all this shit and get out my house. It's Sunday ME day".

"I was coming to ask you something" She said

"Whatever it is can it wait until after me day?" I asked

"I want to spend some time with Benji and Corky need a ride back to Benji place. Benji coming home with me and I need you please, please, please" She begged.

"Ugh, If I'm just dropping him off it's fine anything else hell no" I said rolling my eyes.

"Thank you, best friend,"

I fixed my food and went back to my room to eat and watch tv
