Rose's P.O.V.

I stand in front of the mirror, while Emmy zips up the dress and fixes my hair. It was flowy white strapless chiffon dress. with diamonds studded below my chest. It was comfortable. This was my favourite dress so far.

I look around the room, my room. Or at least, was my room. I had both good and bad memories here. But I only liked to remember the good ones mostly.

This it it. This is good bye, forever.

This was fate since I was born I was made to do this. To be a slave. After this I'll probably get killed by them.

I've heard that the girls that are once sold here never come back or are never seen again.

Even when I heard that, I wasn't fearful. I knew I wasn't going to live for very long. I'll probably end up getting bitten by one, they'll drink evey single drop of my blood until I'm nothing but flesh and bones. For some reason, I wasn't afraid more sad than afraid.

" I'm going to miss you Rose." Emmy said from behind me. I stop dazing in the mirror and turn to face Emmy.

"Me too." I give small smile. Her eyes grow glossy , my eyesight begins to get blurry.

" Promise you won't forget about me." She begins to sniffle.

"Never. I promise." I smile half heartedly and give her a hug. She squeezes me tighter. I do as we'll. I'll do what I can to come see her again.

"Ok, girls. It's time to go. Every one line up by number and Follow me." I hear Ms. Teriot exclaims out in the hall. One by one we all file down. I of course am last as I make my way down the hallway I briefly stop to bid farewell to Ms. Terriot, I look at her eyes which become glossy with tears falling down her cheeks, making them stained.

"Don't cry. Maybe I'll come back." I try to cheer her up. She attempts a smile and wipes the tears. Looking down I notice Lucy hiding behind Ms. Terriot's skirt, eyes peeking through.

"Take care of Lucy for me...like you did for me." I look to Ms. Terriot.

"I will." she said as she looked down took ahold of both my hands and weakly smiled at me.

Lucy, she's like the little sister that I never had. Her short dark hair that ends past her shoulders, big dark brown eyes, and a beautiful happy smile. Although she's quite shy and doesn't speak much when she feels comfortable she does say a thing or two.

"You need to go" I hear Emmy's mom say once again.

"I guess that's my queue." I mutter. and let go of her hands, which now sit at my sides.

"Good luck." Is all she says as I walk to the door and past it. I get in line and begin to make our way to the doors for the backstage. The chit chat of people could be heard as everyone buzzed with anticipation. My nervousness getting the best of me.

I feel a tug at my dress and look down to see, Lucy.

"Lucy weren't you with Emmy?" I kneel so she and I are the same height. I take a good look at her.
