Arc 1.13

A/N: Sorry if the action scenes in the last chapter seemed too unrealistic or awkward. I have never been in a fight before myself or even witnessed one in real life (wait no...i kinda did a few times but i was too freaked out to watch them). Anyways all my knowledge and wisdom comes from action movies and books 😅

So if you have any complaints then blame them, not me lol.

Jamie was still in a deep sleep when he felt an icy cold thing touch his abdomen, right at the place where he had been hit. It wasn't uncomfortable but it didn't feel pleasant either. It did however wake him up from his sleep.

Opening his eyes slowly, Jamie rubbed on them for a second before raising his head to look at his abdomen. There a box of cold juice right above his injury.

Confused, Jamie looked around only to see Ji hoon sitting on the bed beside his. Jamie then noticed his school bag, which he had left in the classroom, was also at Ji hoon's side.

The bag, in which he had brought his sweets, was now on top of his school bag....empty! with not a single sweet in sight. Jamie just sighed, not even bothering to yell or shout at Ji hoon for eating his sweets again without permission.

Ji hoon, who didn't even bother hiding the evidence of his crime just sat casually on the opposite bed. He was quietly observing Jamie as if it was a very normal thing to do. When he finally spoke, his deep voice was laced with a hint of concern,

"How are you feeling?"

'What? is he worried about me!?' Jamie stared at Ji hoon, feeling a little happy. Atleast there was someone at school that actually gave a fuck about him.

Then his eyes drifted to the empty bag of sweets on top of his school bag. The empty bag was on the verge of being blown away due to being too light. Seeing this, Jamie quickly brushed his thoughts off. He looked back at Ji hoon and replied in a sarcastic tone,

"Well, other than you eating my lunch, i am perfectly fine"

"hm" Ji hoon replied.

Jamie had no idea what that even meant nor did he care. As he was silently cursing Ji hoon in his mind, he heard the later speak,

"Put your shirt on, we're leaving"

Ji hoon got up and walked out, taking Jamie's bag with him.

"What! where? hey...wait!" Jamie shouted behind Ji hoon. He picked up his shirt that he had placed near the pillow and hurriedly put it on.

Ji hoon was standing near the door waiting for Jamie to arrive. Jamie looked around the room to thank the Nurse but she was nowhere to be seen, so he just followed Ji hoon as they both walked towards the school gate.

Since Jamie already had a note from the Principal, he didn't have to worry about ditching class. He then looked at Ji hoon, who as always had a stoic face on.

"Aren't you gonna get in trouble for ditching class?"

Ji hoon turned his head and looked at Jamie,
"Are you worried about me?"

Jamie wanted to smack this guy so badly but he controlled himself and replied calmly,

"In your dreams. I am just asking cause we are walking out of school together. I don't wanna get into any trouble later because of you"

"Oh..." Ji hoon replied, then ignored Jamie (and his question) and focused his attention back to walking.

'This damm arrogant prick' Jamie thought angrily, getting more irritated. He wanted to yell at Ji hoon but then decided against it, as he knew it would be a waste of time and energy. Besides, he was too tired and hungry.
