Laurie's car came to a sudden stop outside of the house. She pulled the handbrake upwards, the mechanism clicking into place as she climbed from the car with her revolver in her hand. She looked around, children watched her in fear. "Get out of here! Go get inside. Run!" her voice boomed across the street. Parents grabbed their children and dragged them away, panic written across their faces. Laurie held the gun tightly and looked around.

Inside the house was Hawkins, he was in the hallway inspecting the room and searching for Michael. His gun was raised and he was slowly moving across the house. Michael was hidden away within the shadows of the household, listening, stalking and hunting down Hawkins with every turn. Michael heard rustling on the steps and he stepped back deeper into the shadows. He heard the commotion outside the house and investigated.

Laurie searched the streets and her eyes finally lifted to where she saw Hawkins up in the window of a well lit room with a blue glow. He was standing in front of a figure with a hood over their body, with his pistol raised. He reached downwards, wrapped his fingers around the sheet and yanked it off and stepped back upon seeing Vicky's body covered in blood and slumped over dead. Laurie's eyes scanned over and landed upon the far window on the right with another figure looking back down at her.

The Shape.

Michael stood up there looking down at her. He tilted his head from side to side slowly. She gasped and quickly lifted the gun and aimed. She pulled the trigger and the bullet fired and sailed upwards, went through the window and collided with the mirror where Michael was seen and shattered, leaving Laurie stunned.

Michael turned and left the room and went past the bedroom where Hawkins was. He turned and lifted his gun. "Michael!" He pulled the trigger and the bullet went into the wall. He fired again and the bullet smashed a photo frame on the opposite wall above the stairwell. "Michael, stop!"

Hawkins chased after him as he walked down the stairs and into the lower section of the house. Michael went out the back door and into the yard as Laurie came rushing around the corner with her revolver still raised. Hawkins followed, he encountered Dave's body on the way down.

Michael went around the corner and Laurie aimed and fired again.

Blood sprayed up from his wound as the bullet passed through his shoulder, he jolted to the side but kept moving. Laurie lost track of him as she went after him. Hawkins came out of the house and caught up. She looked around in a panic, her chest rising quickly as terror flooded her. Hawkins stepped up and Laurie glanced to him.

"Frank, he's here" she said quietly.

Hawkins responded, "I know" dread was set in his tone.

With a bullet wound fresh on his shoulder Michael continued to move onwards into the darkness of Haddonfield. Droplets of blood followed behind closely, his body ached as the blood poured out. He held the kitchen knife in his right hand as he walked, his heavy boots stomping as he moved. Waves of children strolled by, seemingly unaware of the potential danger of Myers. Crossing the road, he caught a glimpse of a teenaged boy walking with his head faced down.

The Shape tilted his head.

Danny Patrick was seventeen years old, due to turn eighteen in six days. He lived in the 60's built double story red bricked home on the corner with his mother, father and little brother Noah. He opened his front gate and entered the property, unknown to the presence of The Shape who stood at the road watching him approach the house.

The gate breezed back and he entered the yard and stepped into the shadows as the gate clicked shut.

Danny turned quickly.
