"Has he been prepped?" Doctor Wynn asked, approaching another doctor who was walking down the long hall of Smith's Grove. He was flicking through some paperwork when the doctor approached. He gave a confused glance. "Michael. Has Michael been prepped?"

He nodded. "He's good to go".

"He's been looked over?"

"Multiple times, Doctor Wynn. He's clean as a whistle and ready".

Doctor Wynn walked down the hallway towards the maximum security cell block where Michael was being held. He stopped at his door and looked inside, standing with his back to the door was Michael, hands out by his side and his eyes glued to the small window that revealed the outside of the compound, lush green hills and bright blue skies guided his eyes on a journey in the outside. He stood there looking at the wall, looking past the wall, looking straight through thinking back on that night when he walked free.

Wynn sighed.

Michael was set to be transferred to another maximum security ward in Harden County, being over one-hundred miles away from Haddonfield wasn't good enough for the town as the community demanded another holding cell for the maniac. Wynn understood the dangerous of transferring him so close to Halloween, but this was the only transport that would take him.

It was now 6:35pm, the transfer was about to begin.

Back in Haddonfield, Laurie was preparing for her family to come over for the evening. She had promised a night of fun and no talk of the Boogeyman. She was cooking a large meal when the buzzer for the gate rang, she walked over to the small screen and locked in and saw Karen's car. She opened the gate and they drove in. Laurie closed the gate afterwards and went back to her cooking.

"I'm in the kitchen!" Laurie called, she turned and began placing dishes on the counter when her family came in. Ray followed close behind, his eyes landing on the food. Laurie walked over and gave him a big kiss on the cheek and smiled at him. "Hello, Ray" she said. He smiled and kissed her back.

"Looks good, nana" Allyson commented before going back to her phone.

Karen scoffed. "Sorry we are late. Ray got stuck at the office".

He shrugged.

"No worries. Take a seat. I'll bring the food out now" she said, hurrying them off to the dining room table where Allyson was already set up, a glass of water in her hand and a smile on her face as Laurie began bringing the food out. She walked back into the kitchen, her eyes falling on the radio that was showing signs of life, small waves of static came through. She heard a voice, high pitched squealing and a bang. But she just believed she was picking up another signal as she walked off and switched it off. She grabbed the rest of the food and walked away.

Heading deeper into Harden County was the prison transport bus, fog lights guiding the way as they rounded the corner. Birds flew up from the road, the screeching of the flock filled the humming cabin. The interior lights lit up the rows and rows of inmates. In the fourth row on the isle side was Myers, his head hung low as his shackles clanged together.

The bus hit a bump and the inmate in the back began laughing. Heads turn (not Michael) and looked over in confusion and that's when Michael made his swift move. The driver wasn't aware of what had happened when the chains from his shackles came around his neck, cutting his air take off, forcing him to release the wheel and grab the chains. The bus swerved harshly, people screamed and the wheels screeched as the bus left the road.

"Oh, shit!" Another guard said, turning and lifting the gun.

The nose of the bus struck the ground and the guard was pulled backwards and went through the window, glass rained down as his weapon was fired once into the cabin causing panic. Glass slid across the flooring as the bus came to a stop, smoke coming from the engine. The driver was resting against the wheel, blood rolling from his mouth as his body twitched violently. He had become impaled on the steering column. Blood pooled, he was watching the bodies shuffle one by one to the front of the bus.
