          There was a knock at your door disturbing your peaceful time. You groan and get out off your bed and walk towards the door to open it.

" Taehyung? " Your eyes widen in surprise and you immediately jump to embrace your tall step - brother who had just arrived from Tokyo. He hugs you back with a wide smile.

You broke the hug pulling yourself back and look at him. " I am so glad to see you! But weren't you supposed to come back next week? "

" Mom wanted me to come back early so she could prepare a suit for me. " Yours lips leave a soft ' oh ' at his response.

" And she has called us downstairs for dinner, so let's go or else our asses will be whipped. " You chuckle and walk with him downstairs to the dining room.

You both reach the room and you look at the maids setting the table with your mom helping them. She notices both of you and smiles widely. " I am happy to inform you both that your favorite dish has been cooked today. "

" Really? Mom, you are the best. " His eyes sparkle delight as he stares at the delicious food served on the table.

All of sudden, your step - father enters the room angrily rambling on his phone, probably lecturing one of his assistants.  Few minutes later he hangs up and sighs sitting on the chair next to your mother. You and Taehyung both sit down across them. The dining table was long and your family only reserved the one third of the table. The other two third was only used when guest visit your place.

There was awkward silence which your step - father thought of disturbing. " Taehyung " he looks at the younger and continues " How was Tokyo? "

" Unexpectedly amazing. " Taehyung replies with a smile as the maids serve the food on the plates and leave.

" Even though I was dreading to leave Seoul, — " He pauses to take a bit of his favorite pasta and then continues. " — I think Tokyo is not bad  place to live after all. " He flashes a small smile.

" Oh yes, indeed. "

" I remember going there for a show and one of the models from the other brand had tripped. It was such an embarrassment to the company that they fired her the very same day. " Your mother steps in the conversation recalling a memory of hers with a small smile on her beautiful face.

" How was your day dad? " You ask the man and take a bite of your food.

You knew that if you don't speak up during dinner, your mother would have lectured you for an hour telling you how important it is to talk to the family members and have a strong bond with them.

" Hectic, I had a business meeting with the Parks. It was going fine until their employees and our employees realized that both of them had completely different opinions and ideas for the next product. And then they had a pretty heated argument. " You nod carefully listening to him.

" And you mom? "

" It was fine honestly. But it would have been better if the photographer wouldn't have delayed the time of photo shoot. " She takes the cup of classic red wine and sips it.

" By the way, mom and dad, can I invite my friends over tomorrow? " Taehyung's eyes pleadingly stare at your parents as you take a sip from your glass of wine and look at your step - father waiting for a response.

" No Taehyung, there are guest coming over tomorrow. " Your step - father finishes his food and wipes the corner of his mouth with a napkin and then he looks at you. " And that reminds me of, Y/N. " You take the last bite of your food and look back at him. " Yes dad? "

He sighs and closes his eyes for two seconds and opens it again. " Your tattoos should not be visible, even the one's on your fingers. And there should be no smell of smoke. They are visiting us at 8 o'clock. "

You bite your lower lip and ask him a question, " Is it fine if I stay out till 10? Since they will be gone by that time. " The man's lips turn into a thin line as sighs again and nods and your eyes widens at the positive response.

" Thank you dad. " You smile as you wipe your mouth with a napkin.
