~~BACK TO ASHLYNN~~~
She was laying on the ground with her knees to her chest, crying. Her tears erase Jonas from her view. her thoughts consumes her. I feel terrible about just leaving, but its not like I can just stay. Jane must be missing me... A voice soft and warm calls out her name.
"Ashlynn? Are you ok?" Jonas is looking at her with a worried expression.
Ashlynn's eyes are forced shut by the tears.
I cant let him know whats happening. He's not going to understand. She thinks.
"Ashlynn? Please." Jonas whispers as he falls to his knees.
"Hey, what happened Ashlynn?" Jonas says kindly with his hand on her face.
She turns just a bit to look at his face which is red with exhaustion. He has a low steady pant. She wipes her tears with her wrist.
"It's nothing Jonas. I promise." she says in a low whisper wearing a fake smile.

Why isn't she telling me whats wrong? I can clearly see she has been crying for quite a while. Jonas wonders hopelessly in his head.
