Ashlynn smiles up at her cousin. "Thank you Jane." Jane just smiles and exits through the back door. Jonas watches her as she devotes her energy into a potato dumpling. "Aren't you going to try one Jonas? They are really good."Ashlynn smiles. He cautiously picks up a dumpling and nibbles at it. Ashlynn's eyes get wider as he finishes it, "Do you like em?" "Wow" was all Jonas could muster up and say. Ashlynn smiled and kissed his nose delicately. "You should call your mom Jonas..." her happiness drained from her body. "What's wrong Ashlynn? Are you ok?" he pulls her body down and hugs her protectively. "Jonas... it would hurt me to have you stay here and see how I.. we thrive" she waves her hand in the direction Jane left in. "I am not that kind of boy, love. I made a promise to myself that I would take care of you, and keep you happy." "Sorta like vows?" Ashlynn asked, gazing into his brown eyes. "Exactly like vows Ashlynn. Because I do. I want to keep seeing you light up the world because my life wouldn't be the same without you here. but if you want me to leave now I will." Ashlynn fell weak in his arms and cried softly into his chest, he held her closer and rubbed her back to help calm her down.
