This packed house still seemed to empty, even with Lynn's best friend here and the music blaring it wasn't enough.

It wasn't her, it would never be her.

"Are you having fun?? Come on there is tons of girls here."

Lynn shrugged bringing the bottle of whiskey to her lips again. Looking around the apartment, at the many girls to choose from. Sure, they were hot but no one compared to you.

"Come on Lynn, where have you been? You aren't yourself."

The woman elbowed her.

Lynn groaned and rolled her eyes, "Been busy with the girl from the bar."

"The straight one with Y/H/C?"

Lynn nodded and brought the bottle back up to her lips, gulping down half of it.

"Lyndsey, what is wrong with you?"

Once the whiskey found its way to her body, giving her a buzz. She walked out of the apartment, not listening to her friend shouting at her.

She walked the streets, passing by many different clubs. All debating if it was worth it, all debating if it should be a night where she completely gets shit faced or just find some random woman to fuck and leave.

It had been a week, a week since you last had a conversation with your fiancee. Even in the same room he avoided you at all costs, despite trying to fix it.

He wasn't giving you the chance too, he would shut you down anytime you tried. He wouldn't even let you kiss him or touch him, he always pulled away like you were burning holes into his skin.

He slept on the couch, he wouldn't even sleep in the same bed anymore. The cold shoulder seemed to get worse, but you didn't blame him. You thought about Lynn often now, more then your fiancée.

This cold shoulder seemed to be helping you fight this decision you had been forced with after breaking off the affair with Lynn. You had tried to fill your time with work things, doing things with your best friend Skye.

But it still came back to her, wondering if she had found someone else. If she was happy or a complete wreck like you were. You couldn't even wear the dress anymore that started that night, you had to place it out sight.

You ran the water in the bath tub, sitting on the edge as you stared at the floor. Thoughts running rapid. The heat from the water sent you out of your thoughts.

You stood up and removed your clothing, getting in and relaxing your body into the water. Listening to the birds chirp outside of the window, it being the most relaxing thing you had for over a week.

Your fiancée grabbed your hand, it scaring you.

"Can we talk?"

You nodded and sat up in the water, looking to him.

He took a deep breath, "I'm sorry i have been distant."

You nodded, "I understand. I deserved this."

He looked down at your ring, the thought of asking you if it was ever taken of during the whole thing but deciding against it.

He was trying to mend things not make it worse. You had been working on fixing this since he caught you, it showing him that you still had feelings for him there.

"Can i get in?"

You nodded and scooted over, he removed his shorts and climbed in. Pulling you into his chest, his heartbeat in your ear. You smiled a little but not because of him.

Because, in your mind it was Lynn cuddling you. Not the man who you were struggling to figure out if you still loved and still wanted to be with, you just hadn't felt the same anymore. The cold shoulder from him was one to thank in a way.

You couldn't remember the last time you were physically happy, where you had fun and felt alive with someone. Felt like you were someone's world other then your own.

His hands moved down to your core, you spread out allowing him access. Allowing him to make you feel good after almost two weeks of not being touched by him. Something you had craved.

You pulled the stopper up, letting the water run out as you stood up. Grabbing his hand and leading him to the bed, letting his lips and hands dance all over your body.

You felt your stomach go in knots and then make you feel like you were gonna throw up. You felt the tears wash over you and then it all hit you, causing you to cry more.

He stopped his movements before he could push himself inside of you, looking at you as if he did something wrong. He cupped your cheeks and pressed kisses to your lips.

"I'm sorry."

You muffled out.

In that moment, it all clicked for him. You weren't crying for the fact he did something wrong or he hurt you. You were crying because finally after shoving you away for the week, you had realized what you wanted.

He backed away and shook his head, looking down to the ground as he felt the tears of his own wash over. It was over between you both, it was all over.

You placed the ring on the night table, grabbing the last of the items and walking out of the front door. Placing them inside of your car, you drove off and headed to the park.

A full four days of being with Lynn, you learned her favorite spot. A place she always went when she got in her head, a cemetery. Your hands stayed in your pockets as you made your way to the bench that had a good view.

Lynn sat there, head down as her few single loose strands blew with the wind. You took the empty space beside her, handing her a hot chocolate.

"Hey stranger."

She looked up to you, "What are you doing here?"

"I chose you Lynn."

She raised a brow at you, struggling to understand what you meant. She knew what you meant but she was trying to figure out if it was the same thought.

Just like you read her mind, you spoke again. This time grabbing her hand and squeezing it.

"I chose you Lynn."

She smiled at you and pulled you into her, right where you belonged in the first place.
