You moved the curly strand of Y/H/C out of your face, following behind your best friend Skye. Her laughter filling the street like the rest of the many sounds. It was New York after all, it is the busiest state after all.

She clutched your hand, stopping you mid way. A gasp escaped her mouth as she pointed to a club, the sign filled with neon colors as it flashed girls, girls, girls.

She looked towards you, a smile on her face. "It's a girls club!"

You stopped dead in your tracks, letting out a nervous laugh. You shook your head and pointed towards the club, "I don't think it's what you mean Skye."

The bubbly girl who you called your best friend shifted and placed her hand on her hip, the other resting on the stairway. Her brow furrowed and a smirk on her face as she looked at you.

"Oh come on, it'll be fine."

You shook your head and laughed, nodding. Your hands raising like a white flag as you battled your thoughts but agreed.

"Fine, but you are buying my damn drinks."

Skye let out a squeal, jerking you towards her as you both walked into the club.

The stairway leading inside the club took you to what looked like a basement, somewhat like it had been turned into a club for all women. You passed by the many bodies, the women who stood up against the wall a drink in hand.

While the others were liplocked, hands searching for everything on the body they were on. You gulped at the sight, looking past that as you searched for some sort of bar.

You found a spot that wasn't packed, thanking everything as you took the spot. Skye squeezes through, making it to the bar. Her hand reaching into her top as she tried to signal the bar tender.

It being apparent the bar tender was either busy or just didn't care to serve her, a lady beside her flashed a smile and raised a brow.

"New here?"

Skye nodded, "Yes actually. Is it normally like this?"

The woman shrugged, "Here. I'll help you out."

The woman yelled for the bartender, getting her attention. She looked back to Skye, "What are you drinking?"

"Whiskey."

Skye responded, turning her head to you.

"Uh, a vodka."

She nodded and looked back to the woman, the woman nodded and flashed her way back to the bartender repeating the drink orders.

"I gotta go the bathroom, i'll be right back."

You whispered in your best friends ear.

She nodded and looked back to the woman from earlier, starting a conversation. You shuffled around the many bodies again, being careful of bumping into anyone.

Last thing you wanted to do was upset or piss anyone off, you weren't supposed to be here anyway. You were supposed to be at a different club, one that had been a choice for years now.

You found the bathroom, a sense of relief flushing over you. You passed by a blonde woman, careful to not run into her. She was staring in the mirror at what you weren't sure of.

You came out of the stall and made your way to the sink, setting down the small clutch purse on the counter above the sink. You fixed the strapless dress and began to wash your hands.

Lynn looked over to you through the mirror, a small on her face once she recognized you. She turned her head to yours as you wiped your hands, more focused on the towel to wipe them off.

"Hey."

She spoke.

You looked up to her, "Hey."

She flashed a smile, moving one foot in front of the other as she watched you. Taking it all in, you let out a nervous laugh as you looked around the bathroom.

"Seen you earlier today."

You stopped all movements and as you thought about how she could have seen you earlier, it all making sense once you realized the side shave.

"Oh yeah, you're working on my neighbors roof."

You laughed.

She nodded and reached her hand out, "I'm Lyndsey, Lynn. Whichever floats your boat."

"Y/N."

She smiled, nodding at the sound of your name. Her eyes going to your hand, "You gonna shake my hand or what? Don't be rude."

You raised an eye brow, holding your hand there that you had raised up with hesitation.

You shook your hand, "Nice to meet you but i need to get back out to my friend."

Lynn looked down at the ground, running a hand through her blonde hair.

"Wait, you leaving me now?"

You rolled your eyes at the failed attempt and made your way past her. Moving back through the many bodies to find your best friend. Lynn following behind you, moving at a fast pace to keep up with you.
