chapter 3 - the lonely days

i dedicated this chapter to yanerd5 and georgiepeorgie who encouraged me to continue this story. i hope you enjoy it.

Chapter 3

I haven't sleep for 3 days or since Gabriel left me crying cause the truth he told me. And for these 3 days I thought about what he said. That he'll never hurt me. I know that he never did that since the day we met, instead he the one who saved me. Maybe he hurt me a little that night, but because he didn't want me to walk away from him. But still, I'd heard lots of stories about vampires, and it's scared me. Will he kill me one day? Will he turn me to be like him?

"Jezz, Isa. You have to stop zoning out like this." Xajie's voice and hand startled me.

"Huh?" I stared her.

"You must STOP ZONING OUT!" he yelled at my face. "You didn't pay attention on class, got complained from some your student's parent and i have to scream and shook you few time before you notice me, you looked like you haven't sleep for days. And this morning you almost hit by a car. What's wrong with you, huh?"

"It's..."

"And stop saying it's nothing. It won't work with me. Come on. SPILL!"

I only could stare Xajie. How should I tell her? - Hey, Xaj you know the boy I told you. It turns out he's a vampire and I fell I love to him.- Yeah right, she'll laugh her ass at me or think I already gone crazy. I noticed her face changed from a puppy dog face to irritated face.

"You didn't trust me did you?" i could hear hurt in her voice.

"Not like that, Xaj. I just don't know how to tell you. Sorry." I touched her hand, hoping she'll understand. She sighed and tapped my hand. "You know I cared bout you right?" I nodded and gave her a genuine smile. "You can tell me anytime you think you're ready, okay?" I hugged her and said, "thank you."

"Come on. I'll walk you home, encase there's no stranger who'll save you again when you're zone out and a car try to hit you." She got up and pulled me up.

We walked to my house because her car got fixed, she kept the conversation so I won't back zoning out. After I walked to the house, she went straight to her house. I looked around my house and I feel lonely. All this time, the only thing that keeps me from feeling lonely in this house is the feeling that I know someone will come to drop some gift. And since my birthday, Gabriel always comes every night and left after I fell asleep.

I do miss him, but I still haven't found the answer for my questions. And I didn't know anyone I can ask to bout it. I did my routine, cleaned the house, took a shower, made a dinner and ate it while do my homework , washed the dishes then lying down in front the fireplace with the pillow and blanket that Gabriel always used when he's still came over. Even it's already 3 days but it still has his scent. And like what always I did these last 3 days, I cried till I fell asleep.

Gabriel pov:

It's been 3 nights since I told her the truth. I still went to her house every night and watch her till the time I had to go. I know that she still needs times to think, not that I read her mind. I tried my best not to read it, because I want she tell her decision when she's ready. That's also why I prepared myself for the worst answer, -that she didn't want me in her life-.
