Sam turned slowly towards his brother, tears streaming down his face. "Dean, I don't wanna anymore. I'm scared Dean." Dean smiled at him, feeling tears building up in his eyes.

"It's okay, Sammy. I'm here." He said, letting out a small laugh as tears rolled down his cheeks. He saw the light in his brother's eyes flicker to a different shade.

"Aww, poor little Sammy. Needs his big brother to come save the day."

"Lucifer, you son of a bit-"

"Dean. Don't start talking to me like that now." He pushed out his bottom lip to make a pouted face at Dean and grinned widely at him.

"Just, please. Let my brother go."

"Afraid I can't do that, just yet Dean."

"Just let him go and I won't kill you."

"Are you trying to scare me, Dean Winchester? Well it seems you have grown some balls."

"Shut up and just let him go."

"Afraid not, young one. I need him. He's my protection."

"From what?"

"You." He grinned at Dean before disappearing into the mist. A rose fell to where he was standing.

Why was this happening now? Everything up to this point was under control but he just had to do it, he had to be a hero. Dean couldn't take the pain in his chest when he heard the news. His brother had been missing for days and now he knew why. He had done it. He had said yes. He went back to the bunker to check on Cas.

Cas was unconscious when he returns, the towel half soaked in his blood. His eyes moved quickly around under his eyelids and his hand twitched ever so often. Dean sat by the bed, drinking glass after glass and cursing under his breath whenever he got the chance. He looked up at Cas's pale face. He had shifted a few times but he was still unconscious. Dean wiped the few tears that had been building up in his eyes and got up, kicking the chair out of his way.

"WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?!" he screamed out. His heart pounded in his chest and his vision blurred from all the tears. His knees hit the floor, his heart broke and his sanity disappeared. He sat there for what seemed like hours, alone. He laid down, his knees pulled up to his chest and fell asleep for a while.

When he woke up, his face was still soaked from the tears. He felt his eyes flicker black before feeling something snap. He slowly stood up from where he was kneeling on the floor and grabbed the angel blade from the table. "Time to do what I have to."
