(This is when Winter runs back to the ice kingdom)

Quibli's POV

It was a truly sad sight. I have never seen moon this sad. She was sitting by the healers hut her head bowed and her talons picking at the grass. I slowly approached and sat next to her.

"Hey." I whispered 

"Hi." She replied as she shredded a   Dandelion With her talon

"Look I know winter is a close friend but you need to get your mind off him. There is a really good food place that serves the BEST fried mongoose. Why don't we go hang out for a little bit? The healer can watch kinkaju."

She looked up at me and smiled sadly "that would be lovely."

I stood and put out my wing to her.She took my offer and slipped under my wing.I felt her cold scales against mine. We walked in science occasions shooting glances at each other. I had forgotten how beautiful Moon was. In the moonlight the two identical silver scales by her sparkling eyes glinted like two shining stars. We reached the restaurant and got a table for two next to a small pond that reminded me of the outclaw (it autocorrected to outclass like 7 times...) pool. We ate and talked. I got her to smile again even laugh. But, I could tell she was still upset about winter Kinkaju too. I knew she felt like she could do more to make it better when she couldn't.

"Moon?" I asked

She looked up from the glazed lizard we were having for dessert.

"Yah?"

I felt my heart skip a beat. Should I tell her how I felt? No. Not yet. That would end badly.

"Have you ever had a glazed lizard?" I asked quickly

She looked a bit like she was expected something else 

But soon smiled.

"No I have had glazed oranges though."

I smiled "well in the sand kingdom it is the most favored dessert."

"That's cool! I am excited to try it."

She looked at the lizard most likely trying to figure out how to eat it. 

"Here." I said as I twisted of one of the legs of the lizard." You eat the legs first then the body." She nodded and tried to twist one of the other legs. "Let me help."

I gently put my talon (lol IDK hand? Paw?) on hers and helped her snap of the lizard leg. Moon tried to hide it but I could tell she was blushing. I ate my lizard leg and she did the same. 

"Wow! I never thought glazed lizard leg would be so good!" She said as she successfully snapped off another lizard leg. We finished the lizard and walked back to the healers house. Moon under my wing the whole time. Once we got back to the house we sat and looked at the stars. I pointed out some constellations I knew and she told me myths about them. She was still sitting under my wing and our tails were in twined.

She finished her story about Orion and looked up to me and I looked down at her. She smiled a bit and blushed more. 

"It's late," she said a bit awkwardly which was adorable "we should probably get some rest. Maybe kinkaju will be up tomorrow or Winter will come back." I nodded and we flew to the hotel we were staying in. I walked moon to her room.

"Goodnight Quibli." She said with a smile 

"Night Moon." I said as I bent down and kissed her on the cheek to which she let out a small squeek. She looked happy with me kissing her cheek so I nodded to her and went next door to my room.

POV Moon

He kissed my cheek I thought as I closed the door to my room. HE KISSED MY CHEEK! I couldn't stop smiling as I flopped down on the reed and moss bed. I don't think Darkstaker would approve but still. I think I am starting to actually like Quibli. I thought I would end up with either Quibli or winter. But now I think I may actually like Quibli.

Sorry this chapter isn't that great it is now 1 am where I am now I I just finished reading through trying to do spelling and whatnot. I do hope you like it and that it isn't that terrible. So I went to Mozart in the moonlight ( done by orchestra) by the time I got home it was 9. So I watched TV until 10. So I planned today that I would go get home and have a chapter posted. So around 10 I started writing this chapter. I finished around 12. Then went through to check spelling. And now it is 1 in the morning... so again sorry if there are any errors but I still hope you enjoyed this chapter!
