Aphmau's P.O.V

I was so happy to have Sly in my arms, hugging him. We both cried, as we're still hugging. The Avengers were smiling.

Sly saw Tony and his expression changed from happy to anger a little. "What are you doing here?" he asked.

"Can I not see my son?" Tony asked.

Sly let me go and looked at Tony, "No you can't." Sly said sternly.

Thor pulled me towards him. Not wanting me into this argument.

Sly's P.O.V

I was upset about my dad being here, why does he care now? He never cared before, all he does is just work in his lab all day and night, he doesn't even pay attention to me.

"Sly take Tony to your room." Jess said sternly.

I looked at her, "What?"

"You heard me, you two have to make peace," Jess explained.

As much as I hated to admit it, she was right..

I looked at Tony and motioned him to follow me, Dad followed me and I opened my bedroom door and let him in, closing the door behind me, locking it.

"Listen Sly—" He started.

"Dad, why are you even here?" I interrupted him. Not even looking at him.

"I wanted to see my son, can I not?" He asks.

I shook my head no, "Why do you even care now? You haven't visited me in over five years,"

"Sly—"

"You never cared!" I shouted. Tears pooling into my eyes. "All you cared about was just your work,"

He had a hurt look in his eyes, I still couldn't even look at him.

"I-I Just can't with you right now Dad." I can tell, when I said that, his heart shattered.

As I was about to leave my room he spoke.

"Sly Stark." He said in a stern voice which made me freeze.

"Never in my life I would put my work on top of you." He said.

"But You did—" "I did not!" He shouted.

I was still turned away from him.

"Sly, you left me, us. I never intended to hurt you emotionally," He said. "You should know that I'd never put anything on top of you!"

"You're my top priority, I have to keep you safe." He continues.

I was quiet, I didn't want to hear anymore of this.. yet, I wanted to.. I haven't heard his voice his years..

"You left when you were seventeen, you know how hard it was for me?" He asked. "Knowing that I wouldn't see my son, Hell, you're not even looking at me."

A tear rolled down my cheek, I missed him.. I missed my father..

"Sly, please," he pleaded. "Look at me."

I kept looking away with my back facing him.

"Sly," he started. "You're my only son, I never wanted you to leave. Please."

As much as I wanted to keep facing away from him, my mind kept telling me to turn around.

"You Know I love you right?" He asked. My heart almost shattered, I haven't heard those words from his mouth in ages. "I love you more, than anything else in this world."

At that moment, I turned and faced him, tears streaming down my cheeks.

Tony got out of his suit and walked over towards Me and hugged me dearly.

I returned the hug and buried my head in his chest.

"D-Dad—" "Shh, I got you, I'm right here," he said as he continues to hug me. He kisses the top of my head and held me.

"I'm sorry," I managed to say. "It was never your fault Sly, it was mine." Tony says as he continued to hold me.

"Sly, if I didn't care, then why am I here now?" He asks.

I cried even harder, I've never cried this hard in my life.

"Shhh, just let it out," Tony says as he rubs my back soothingly. "I'm here Son, I'm here."

After a good five to ten minutes I stopped crying and calmed down a little.

Tony looked at me and wipes my tears with his thumb, "There's my son," he smiled.

I smiled back, happy to know that my father had always cared..

Tony looked at my gear and broke the hug and walked towards it.

"If you needed a few materials, you could've just asked." He chuckled.

I smiled and walked over, "I can't get my right hand on my armor properly working," I said. "It's been driving me nuts.."

Tony examined it and asked me for tools. I handed him my tool box and he set the piece of armor on my desk along with the tools.

I watched him as he was redoing a few wires and a few dents here and there.

"Almost done," he says and he connects a few more wires together. "Done, here try it out."

As he handed it to me, I put it on and I held my hand out to the wall where I normally test out my armor.

A blast of white light shoots out of my hand and I looked at it amazed.

I smiled and looked at my dad, "Th-thanks, Thanks a lot!" I smiled.

He smiled back, "I can help you out with your armor if you wish." He says.

I smiled, "I would love that!"

We both started working together on my armor and I was happy, happy to know that I can trust my father again.

Happy that I can see him again.
