You woke up groggily. You'd just moved into your new apartment and applied to your new high school. You swung your legs out of bed and shuffled over to your closet. You pulled off your current clothes and changed into a crop-top sweater and some light color ripped jeans. Slowly you began to wake up and did your hair in a tight, yet messy, bun. You dragged your feet to your small kitchen and made a breakfast smoothie, taking it to the living room and plopping onto the couch. You clicked the TV on and watched the news. It was the only good channel you had right now. You sighed, Why is there nothing ever exciting happening? You stared at the news reporter who was ranting on about the chilly weather. On the bottom you read the moving words "Breaking News: New hero, Spiderman, saves 23 people from burning building." You sat upright,"Finally something exciting!" You cheered.
The TV changed to a video of a person in a red and blue suit with a black spider on the chest swinging with webs in and out of a burning building. Your eyes were glued to the TV when you heard a ding from your phone. You grabbed it and looked at the notification.
Time for school!
You yelped, spitting out a little of your smoothie before quickly running to your room. You grabbed you backpack and hurried to the door. You closed it quickly and locked it. You ran down the stairs of your apartment and flew to the bus stop.
You stoped and groaned,"Classic. Missed the bus."
