(y/n) = your name

You looked around in confusion, Where'd he go? You decided to let it go and be thankful you made it in time. Hurrying inside you bumped into someone.
"Sorry!" You apologized quickly.
The boy had fallen over and his things were scattered around on the floor. Instinctively, you began picking them up and handing them to him.
"Thanks," The boy said.
"No problem."
He looked at you,"Are you new here?"
"Is it that noticeable?" Your face turned pink.
"No, I just haven't seen you around before," He explained.
"Oh, well I'm (y/n). What's your name?" You asked.
"Parker. Peter Parker, not just Parker," He said flusteredly.
You giggled,"Nice to meet you Peter."
"You too."
We met eyes and just stared at each other. You saw his eyes flash down a bit at your chest, but they flicked back up to your face. You felt your face turn bright red,"Oh, umm..."
Peter seemed even more embarrassed,"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to, if that makes any sense. Sorry!" He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Umm, it's okay?" You stammered, not knowing how to react.
Suddenly, the bell rang.
"Shit!" Peter mumbled.
"Sorry if I made you late!" You called after him as he hurried off.
"It's fine!"

Soon enough lunch rolled in. You walked into the cafeteria and found an empty table in the farest corner of the cafe. You looked into your lunch box and found a small post-it note inside. It read: Enjoy your first day! ~Mom
You smiled, but quickly shoved it into your pocket as you heard footsteps approaching.
"Mind if I sit here?" A familiar voice asked.
You looked up and saw Peter,"Sure. It's not reserved or anything."
"You okay?" He asked, glancing at you.
"Huh?" You were lost in thought,"Yeah, just spacing out."
"Oh ok," He murmured through a mouthful of a sandwich.
You poked at your food, you weren't very hungry. You took a few bites of your chicken nuggets before offering them to Peter,"Want them?"
He looked startled.
"Sorry! Did it come off weird to eat something I already bit off? I didn't realize," You said, pulling back your lunch box.
"No, no, no. It's not that, it's just no one's ever been this nice to me," Peter looked away.
"No one's ever offered you a piece of their food?" You asked.
Peter shook his head,"I don't have many friends."
"Neither do I, but I know this sounds like something you'd say in kindergarten, but we can be friends," You joked.
Peter looked up at you and smiled,"Yeah, I'd like that."
