A young man, looking to be in his late twentys, sat at an desk overflowing with papers. He sat upon an old, rickety wooden chair. He was scribbling words down on a piece of paper furiously, before he let out a frustrated sigh and threw his pen down."Fuck!", His curse rang through the apartment room as he grabbed his black hair and pulled it. He growled quietly, and propped his elbows up on the table. His arms covered his face as he tried to calm himself.
He calmed down in a short period of time, and his grip loosened on his now messy hair. He took a deep breath before looking down at the mess of papers.
Some had been knocked onto the floor, while some remained on the desk. Quite a few of them were wrinkled, about two had major tears in them. He sighed and scooped the ones that were on the floor into his arms, and laid them on the table quietly.
He picked up his pen, and resumed working on his paperwork.
A few hours later, he had finished all the paperwork, and fixed the papers that were torn. He stood up from the chair, his legs feeling numb. He ignored the feeling and dragged himself over to his coat rack, grabbing his scruffy trenchcoat.
He walked to his bathroom, looking at himself in the small mirror hanging above his sink. He had small bruises here and there all over his face, obviously self-inflicted. His hair was a mess, and was sticking up in every way there was. His trenchcoat went surprisingly well with a light blue t-shirt and some black jeans.
"You look like a mess, Ven.", A female voice came from the bathroom doorway. Ven quickly turned to the voice, realizing it was simply Lillith.
"You scared me..", Ven did a small nervous chuckle as his girlfriend only rolled her eyes. "Yea, yea, whatever." Ven turned back to the sink and twisted the knob so cold water came rushing out.
He cupped his hands under the water, and lightly splashed it on his face. He lightly sighed while turning off the water. He wiped his face off with a handtowel, then turned to Lillith, "So, what brings you here so late?"
Ven was right about it being late, it was around 9:00 at night. She only shrugged, "Just decided to visit." Ven smiled at her, and walked out of the bathroom. Lillith followed behind him, hands on her hips.
"Soo, would you like to go on a walk around the park with me?", Ven turned to her, pausing in the space between his living room and his kitchen. Lillith nodded, "But if I fall in these heels, you are buying me a new skirt." Ven then noticed her dark pink skirt with yellow flower patterns all over it.
Lillith also had a light pink tank-top on, and to top it all off, dark pink heels. Ven couldn't help but smile at his girlfriends obsession with pink. "Well, let's get going, shall we?" He strided to the front door, and opened the door and held it open.
Lillith strolled right on past him, hands returning to her hips. Ven walked out behind her, closing the door and locking it behind him, before racing to catch up with Lillith.
