Sally Acorn. Leader of the Knothole Freedom Fighters, Princess of the Acorn Kingdom. She was likely the best leader out there. Sonic, a member of the Freedom Fighters, would often be the one to go on any sort of mission with Sally. Wether it be rescuing hostages, sabotaging Robotniks plans, or trying to figure out ways to end Robotniks reign in power. While Sally was the brains of the operation, Sonic was usually the muscle.
Over time, Sonic began to fall in love with Sally. He truly wanted her to love him the same way he loved her. One day, he and his adoptive little brother, Tails, went out to find something to win the princess' heart.
"Sonic.. is it really that safe to search outside of Knothole for Sally's present?" Tails asked Sonic as they were leaving Knothole.
"Chillax, Buddy! If any badniks come around, I'll be able to handle them!" The blue hedgehog replied with confidence. Tails trusted Sonics words.
Soon the brothers made it to a field of flowers. They were surprised that Robotnik hadn't sent any of his drones to suck all the life out of this place. Sonic stopped and Tails landed near the field and began looking around. Unknown to them, this meadow had a curse attached to it.
Sonic spotted a lovely golden daisy in the middle of the meadow. "Perfect-o!" He said with a smirk as he carefully trudged through the flowers to grab it for Sally. Tails flew above him.
Suddenly, a strange mist surrounded Sonic just before he could pick the flower.
"What the?!" He looked around, only to find the same mist, "what's going on here?!"
Soon, Sonic was beginning to feel strange. His limbs felt like they were being shrunk by some strange force. his shoes were becoming too big for his shrinking feet. His muzzle was slightly growing as his eyes were shrinking. His quills still felt the same.
"SONIC!!!" Tails exclaimed as he flew into the rescue. He blew the strange mist away with his twin tails, only to find a few things.
Sonics backpack, sonics shoes, sonics gloves, and a tiny blue hedgehog(non mobian folks.).
Tails picked up the tiny hedgehog, "Sonic...? Is that you?" He asked the small rodent. The hedgehog nodded as he was looking at himself. He was confuse as to what had happened to him.
"We better get back to Knothole.. maybe Roter and Sally can fix this!" Tails picked up the rest of Sonics things and put them in his backpack, still keeping Sonic in his hands. He the. Flew back to Knothole.

Sally was in her home, wondering where Sonic and Tails had gone. It had been hours since she last saw either of them. And she was starting to worry. She soon heard the sound of Tails flying and ran outside.
"Tails! There you are! Where's Sonic?" She asked as he landed.
"Uhm... I can explain.." Tails showed Sally Sonic's current condition. She gasped in disbelief.
"This is Sonic?!" She exclaimed, still finding this unbelievable.
"yeah. He and I went outside of Knothole.. only because Sonic wanted to find you something special. But by the time he did, some weird mist surrounded him and turned him into a normal hedgehog.." tails explained to Sally. As he did, Sonic was blushing due to his embarrassment.
Sally sighed, "this is why we don't go outside of Knothole. We never know what could be out there. And Sonic, you should've known this! Why would you even be out there picking flowers.." as she finished that sentence she figured it out, "Sonic.."
Sally looked at Tails. "Tails, go get Roter. We are going to figure out how to turn him back."

After about a week, Roter and Sally created the cure to Sonic's curse. The very golden daisy he had originally set out for. Now Sonic was finally back to normal. Sonic thanked both Sally and Roter for helping, and apologized to Sally for going outside of Knothole without letting her know. Sally of course forgave him. And he got what he always wanted. A kiss from his dear Sally.
