That night was shocking that it still lingered on my mind. It has been about a month and Dillan and I still didn't have our questions answered.
I sometimes wonder if we need to talk to our dad about it. I sit down in an arm chair in the same library that the meeting was taken in. I close my eyes. "Why do they need us?" I whispered to no one.
"Hey sis!" John calls out to me.
I look up to see him holding a book, with my name on it? Seriously...firs the tomb now this book?
"This looks like the book that Hikallia was holding." John inspects the cover more.
"So a grim reaper book?" I look at the cover. It said, 'Alice Faloira and her Seven Lives'. Huh, that's interesting. Did she change her identity seven times? It can't be me. it doesn't have my last name on it.
Also, where did this book came from?
John looks at me a little scared. I stared back. "Should we read it?" He asked me.
"If it helps us figure out why we are used for this chick then," I shrug. "Why not?"
We bring the book over to a couch. We sit down and John places the book on his lap. "Where should we start?"
"The beginning." I turn to the page where Alice's first life started.
John nods. "A girl was born in a very interesting breed of family. The family were very known to be relatives of Count Dracula. Henry Faloria and Mary Faloria, parents of Alice Faloria. Alice is the forth child born in this family. First child and is a boy named Marcel, second child and is a boy named Isaiah, third child and is a boy named Vance...WHOA!"
I jump in my spot.
"It says here that she died at age 13!" John points at one part of the page.
"How?" I asked. "Though I think I will regret asking..."
"Burned in a velvet cloth tent. Apparently her mother made that tent for her as a trap. From jealousy she burned her own daughter, because she was not getting enough attention from her husband and sons..." John stops reading.
"Is that all about her first life?" I shivered. "There's got to be something in-between."
The windows of the library banged open from the wind. John closes the book and quickly closes the windows.
"Do you have any right to look in that life record?"
I turn around to see Sebastian. His very handsome face was too close to my personal bubble. I blush and hug Alice's life records. "We just wanted to know who you wanted to save..."
He chuckles and reaches for the record, but I didn't let him. "It seems unfair that Hika has let you twins see this, but not me." Sebastian puts his finger under my chin and lifts my face to look at his. "Care to tell me what happened to Alice in her first life?"
"Uh-um, I-" I stutter.
"If you give us information on why you need my sister and I for tonight." John pulls a calendar an points at todays date. "It is a full moon tonight."
Sebastian moves away from me. "It was supposed to be just your sister, but we found out that it had to be a both of you. In Phantomhive's history, there was never twins. Till now. In demon's history, if a demon that died while under any sort of contract with his or hers master. That demon can be reborn with the masters's children's blood, but the catch is that it has to be twins."
"So we're saving a demon?!" John yelled.
I stand up holding the book. "Why should we save a demon?! Aren't they the things that eat human's souls?"
