—1 week later—

Misty and Danny were in the evidence room, as usual, looking into the crime that happened a week ago. They still didn't have enough evidence for the innocent worker so Robbie tried to find some clues. Luckily, he found more and decided to give them a visit.

"How's it looking?" Robbie asked, entering the room and giving Danny a hug, "This still not making you sleep?"

"Not enough evidence." Danny sighed, "Did you bring some burgers? Misty and I are craving for some."

"He just used my name so you would buy. I'm not hungry." Misty said while looking at the evidence.

"That may be true but you never know, right?" Danny smiled but Robbie wasn't feeling it, "I wanted some burgers, all right. Maybe Misty doesn't want but you can have the other one."

"I ate one in the restaurant."

"We are talking about burgers while I'm investigating a crime which is murder. Don't you think you should help out?" Misty asked.

"I helped you out with the prosthetic arm, am I right? What has Robbie helped you with?" Danny proudly asked.

"He's been handing me evidence from the crime scenes that are happening around New York. Now, ask yourself who's helping out more."

"Look, Misty." Danny sat on the chair, "I'm the Immortal Iron Fist. Protector of-"

"You're not getting away with one of your stories, Rand." Robbie chuckled and looked back at the evidence board, "Do we have any names?"

"The most important name you've given me is Kevin. I feel like I have to go back to Shades and interrogate him about this... Kevin." Misty muttered.

"That was over a week ago. Did Shades get diagnosed with drugs?"

"No. He was fine. No sign of drugs in his body so he was telling the truth, right?"

"He is good in business, Knight. You might not know if he was fooling us or not. I should probably call Luke."

"I'll go get him. I bet we could kick ass together. I'll stay in touch, guys." Danny stood up and started walking out of the room, "Save me the burger!"

After Danny was gone, Robbie leaned over to Misty.

"You're not hungry, right?"

—Harlem—

Danny entered Pop's barbershop after using the Harlem's Hero App. Luke was napping on one of the chairs when he entered. As the doorbell chimed, Luke was awaken from his sleep and saw Rand entering the room.

"Didn't know you were coming here, brother." Luke chuckled followed by Danny and gave him a hug, "What's up?"

"You seem pretty relax right now. Do you have anything to do? Because I have something for us to do."

"And what is that, exactly?" Luke placed his arms together.

"We're going to hunt down this Kevin guy. Remember?" Danny asked while Luke tried to recall, "The one that Shades mentioned."

"Oh yeah. What about him?" Luke asked, placing the swear jar in the right place, "Criminal background?"

"I mean... probably. If Shades was working for a guy, it means that the guy he is working for is also bad."

"You kind of lost me but in the situation, everyone is bad?"

"At least you described it better than I did. But yes." Danny smiled and looked around the room, "Where's Dave?"

"Vacation with his girlfriend. He'll be back in a few days or so. Got to give the man a break."

"Alright. Meet me at the Dojo tonight. I might have to get some evidence from Misty first. See you soon."

"See you later, man." Luke said, as Danny walked out of the barbershop. Luke leaned on the floor and grabbed the money Danny dropped from earlier, "Thanks for the $10, Rand."

—Police Station—

Misty returned to the evidence room to see Jessica, sitting on her desk while reading the files. She leaned to her back and saw Robbie drinking some coffee down the hallway. She entered the room and tossed her wallet on the table.

"Feet of the table, Jones." Misty sighed, taking a seat on her table, "Why in hell are you here?"

"I want to know what happened with Murdock?" Jessica asked.

"What's with Murdock? I haven't heard him in a while. Danny said he texted him that he was going on a business trip with Foggy."

"Business trip? He messaged me that he was going to Wakanda because King T'Challa needs his services."

"That doesn't line up. Nelson wouldn't go with Matt to Wakanda. I mean, what would he do there? And Wakanda already has a soldier in Bucky Barnes. What do they need Murdock for?"

Jessica sighed but got interested with the evidence board. She noticed Shades's picture on the wall with a name beside it.

"Who the hell is Kevin?" Jessica asked, trying to think it over.

"The only thing I got from Cage and Reyes is that he is British and likes to give commands to people."

"You've got to be fucking me." Jessica muttered, thinking about Kilgrave. "The fucker is still alive."

"Who is still alive?" Misty asked but Jessica started grabbing her things, "Jones! Who is Kilgrave?!"

"Search in your files, Kevin Thompson. I have to tell the others."

—Hotel

Danny and Luke casually walked inside a four-star hotel in the middle of the night. All Danny needed to show was his I.D. and they gave him access to walk around the place. From room to room, they searched if there were any signs of suspicious activity. When they reached the farthest room in the corridor on the fourth floor, there was a little blood on it.

"Don't tell me somebody accidentally cut themselves and went inside the place." Danny said.

"The person inside obviously killed someone. I think it's him." Luke knocked on the door and waited for it to be answered. Luke started looking at his calm Danny was in the situation. It looked like he was very happy. Suddenly the door opened which revealed Kilgrave. "Bitch!"

Luke missed the punch by a few inches and broke the door instead. Danny was confused who the man was and instead fought alongside Luke in taking the man down. Kilgrave was quickly dodging the attacks of Luke since it was so slow and he was also taking cover from Danny's fist.

"Stop!" Kilgrave shouted but Luke didn't stop punching. His power stopped on people he had met and Danny was very calm so he wasn't falling for it. "Murdock!"

Matt came out of nowhere and took down Danny very quickly. He swiped his feet off the ground and kicked his head to the wall. Luke tried to swing his heavy hand on Matt but Matt crouched. He wrapped a chain around Luke's body and punched his back. The pain went back to Matt since Luke's body is practical bulletproof. With the help of Kilgrave, they were able to throw Luke of the edge. Danny almost got up when he faintly saw Matt listening to Kilgrave.

"I need my bags packed now!" Kilgrave frustratingly ordered when he saw Danny, "And knock him out, will ya?"

Matt struck Danny with a right elbow, giving Danny a concussion.
