—Outside Courthouse—

The young but intelligent reporter started running towards the doors once it opened. Just like her and the other reporters, they were eager to receive news on the trial of Matthew Murdock. Tony Stark, who was wearing a fancy suit and a pair of sunglasses, walked out first smiling.

"Mr. Stark, Mr. Stark!" The reporter called as she approached Stark, "Can you give us any news on the recent trial?"

"Good afternoon everyone." Tony smiled and waved towards the camera, "If you want any news on the trial- well I can't give you any information because we're quite on the rush in something so my friend over here, Bob, will fill you on everything."

"Bob! Bob!" All the reporters clamoured as Tony left chuckling.

Tony approached his limousine where Maria Hill was waiting for him. She opened the door and let him in.

"Nice job on getting rid of the press." Maria commented as she got in herself, "What did you say."

"Called someone Bob and told everyone that he knows everything. Totally fooled him." Tony smirked, "Where's Murdock now?"

"He's being transported to Ryker's as we speak."

"Alright." Tony fixed his seat, "Tell the guards to fire up the portal, I want to finish this as soon as possible. I've got dinner with Ms. Potts tonight. How about you, Hill?"

"More S.H.I.E.L.D. reports, nothing new about that." Maria sighed as she flipped through her tablet.

"Just stop." Tony took away the tablet and placed it to the side, "I'll set you up for a blind date and we'll see how it goes, what do you think?"

"As long as you're paying it and I get to get away from signing reports, then I'm all in." Maria smiled as she looked towards the road.

—Harlem—

After unloading the truck with all their stuff, Claire walked over to Colleen who was watching Danny and Luke finish up inside the Dojo. Colleen was taking one last look around Harlem before their flight.

"Are you sure you guys can't stay? New York could really use you and Danny. Protectors of New York City." Claire suggested.

"I really wished we could stay but in the Washington footage, they caught Danny but not Luke. Kilgrave deleted all the film inside the White House so nobody could confirm that Luke was in there." Colleen explained.

"Look at them," Claire smiled when she pointed at Luke and Danny laughing with one another, "They're happy. This is why you should stay. Luke gets happier whenever Danny is around."

"I hope that someday we could go back but the law is holding us back. It's against our contract."

"The contract is kind of... unfair. Danny is not allowed to use his Iron Fist or else he will be arrested?"

"Not only that, if he displays any type of violence, he's going to be arrested." Colleen sighed, "I'm going to miss you Claire."

"I'm going to miss you too." Claire smiled and gave Colleen a hug.

In the distance, Luke and Danny finished up their conversation. They saw Claire and Colleen hugging.

"I guess this it. I can't believe you're going to Africa." Luke smiled and patted Danny in the back, "Where specifically though?"

"Wakanda. I heard there is a particular King that I'm looking for." Danny laughed, "T'Challa promised me that I could practice my powers there."

"Hell, we should just attack the government right now and give you your freedom back." Luke chuckled, "Man, I should be in that position, not you."

"What do you mean? You're the protector of Harlem! I'm just a millionaire who's sitting on a lot of money by accident."

"I'm just..." Luke scratched his head, "I just lost the words man. I lost the words."

Danny and Colleen said their goodbyes to Luke and Claire before they left. Danny rolled down the window as he started up the car.

"Make sure New York is safe and sound." Danny smiled, "Alright man. You're officially the Defender The now."

"Take care man. I hope to see you next time." Luke said, walking slowly as the car started moving, "Come back around Christmas."

"We'll see. By the way, call me if you want to see into the Heroes for Hire." Danny chuckled and started driving off.

Luke and Claire started wandering around the park, peacefully.

"So, what happened to the flame guy? The Ghost Rider if I may." Claire asked.

"After Washington, he left. He was getting pressured and said he needed to return to Hell."

"Kind of the opposite of what Matt believes in."

"Matt." Luke muttered and stared into the faraway sunset. "I wonder what that man is up to now."

—Prison 42—

The guards uncuffed Matt when they passed through the portal because all of the powers that they have will be removed once they are in the Negative Zone. Tony had his arm wrapped around Matt's neck as he guided him to his cell.

"Tell me, Matthew, why did you get Danny's other ten years than letting you both split it into two?" Tony asked.

"I want him to live his life to the fullest. Look at me, a criminal. I need to think things over. Look at my life in a different perspective." Matt muttered then exhaled deeply, "Start over."

"I had a friend once, eleven years ago he told me to not waste my life. So far, I've been doing a shit job. I'm not spending enough time with my wife. I feel like I talk more to my armour than her. It's embarrassing."

"I feel you." Matt faintly smiled, "I talked to God earlier and he told me that there is a war coming. And then I saw visions of you."

"Look, Murdock, if there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I am a atheist. But I believe your words and I have this feeling, deep down me, that there is a war coming. That's why I do preparation. This right here," Tony pointed at his arc reactor, "is preparation."

They reached Matt's cell and Tony unlocked it by facial recognition. Tony patted Matt in the back and smiled.

"Go get 'em, tiger." Tony smiled and started walking away.

Matt walked inside his cell and immediately noticed his roommate. He had dark hair and had a army cut and some beard. He looked at Matt and smiled.

"My name is Matthew Murdock, from Hell's Kitchen." Matt greeted.

"The name is Eddie Brock, and people call me the Venom." Eddie smiled and shook his hand, "It's alright, I'm the good guy in my story. What do they call you?"

"They call me..." Matt stopped talking and looked down in shame. But he felt something inside him the reignited the flame. He looked into the mirror behind Eddie, "the Daredevil."
