ThE cArNiVaL

You ran outside, and slammed the door, panting hard as you blocked the door with your body. You then slowly walked off, looking down. "What...was that...?" You asked slowly. "It felt like I was getting dragged into the bathroom. But...I didn't feel anything on my ankles." You then thought of the demon's words in your mind. "It'S...nO...UsE...," the demon said. Hearing that got you goosebumps. Not because of what he said, but the way he said it. It sounded a bit...raspy. It didn't sounded deep. It sounded insane. "This one seems different than the last demons I have faced," you said. "But what is it with all these demons coming after me? What is it about me do they want?" Suddenly you remembered something. "OH! I forgot! The autumn carnival is coming!" You ran back inside, forgetting that the demon was even there, and you went up to your room to get your money. When you walked out with your cash, the demon started to echo through the house. "HoPe YoU hAvE a FuN tImE...," the demon said. "I wIlL sEe YoU vErY sOoN...." You shivered, and ran out the door. You then eventually made it to the carnival, that wasn't really too far from where you lived. You watched as the lights were lighting up the place. There was a ferris wheel, carnival games, rollercoaster rides, and a huge funhouse. Since it was close to Halloween, you saw the funhouse covered in cobwebs, bats, tombstones, and skeletons. You figured that it was a kids entertainment ride, but you then saw a man standing right beside it wearing a cape and costume. He looked at you and said, "Step right up! Step right up inside the haunted funhouse!" You looked at it. "What's inside?" You asked him. He leaned in toward you. (This is not Professor Jacob, I swear to you.) "Only almost everything that you could possibly happen, only worse," he said as he made a creepy smirk on his face. You looked in his eyes and your eyes widened as you saw his eyes turned bright red and glowing! "So WhAt Do YoU sAy...?" He asked, demonically, which made you shiver. "WaNnA sTeP iNsIdE?" You slowly stepped back. You thought this was the demon was from before that told you he was going to see you! You wanted to run, but you looked back at the funhouse. He was probably driving you crazy. This funhouse was probably just for kids, and not even that scary. And the demon was just hallucinating you. You looked back and saw the man smile at you. "Go on in," he said in a normal tone. You actually were hallucinating you thought. You slowly looked down at the caution police tape beside the gate, but you ignored it. You walked slowly to the entrance, and saw a skeleton looking at you . "YOU WON'T COME BACK ALIIIIIIIIIVE!" The skeleton shouted that caused you to yelp and jump. You knew it was a joke...but when you have a demon coming after you, you didn't think this was gonna be fun at all.
